I am SO happy it's Friday! It's been 3 weeks since my hubby has had a single day off of work, but as far as I know, he is not working this weekend! Can't wait to just chill!

What are you all doing this weekend? Any plans??

We were supposed to have a football game for my 3rd grader tomorrow, but this past Wed. he hurt his ankle and is still not walking very well on it :( poor guy. He still wants to go watch his team play though, which I think is super awesome of him.

Tomorrow evening we are getting a sitter and going to a local outdoor museum for a night with the symphony. Dinner & symphony & no kids. *sigh* :luvya

sounds lovely Rebecca! Enjoy your weekend with your hubby!

I'm cleaning today.
I work tomorrow.
I need to go down to San Diego on Sunday. I have to exchange something down there, so I'll just do a little shopping and then come home.

Pretty boring weekend for me! I'm just happy because Rick will get to move into a different area of the building (up on the North Slope) where he'll have phone and internet. They made a mistake and put him somewhere else. I'll get to skype again with him tonight. It really makes a difference getting to do that.

Blah blah blah more exercise. LOL

Long run tomorrow morning (16 on the schedule) and then Sunday I'm supposed to go to the lake to try open water swimming to see if I can do a triathlon the following weekend without dying. I also have to run 3 miles at the lake with my daughter some time on Sunday, and we have the running club's annual picnic. I need more weekend.

We just had Open Houses today at both of my kids' schools, drinks later with the neighborhood ladies, then my son has his first football game tomorrow (but there are two games in this "Jamboree"), so it's an ALL DAY THING... Oy!! In this heat, it's gonna suck a**! :helpy

so, we went to the orchestra thing last night, but at about 9:00 this giant sized storm rolled in, and they told us all we had to go to our cars because of lightening & high winds. so everyone just left. turns out, the same storm caused a stage at the IN state fair to collapse, so i think the orchestra evacuation was definitely a wise decision by the powers that be. sadly, four people were killed in the state fair stage collapse. i think that's the 2nd instance of weather-related deaths in Indy in the past week or so. very crazy, and so sad.

thankfully no one was injurred at the event we were at last night, although it was a crazed mass exodus trying to leave the parking lot. and the event coordinators had given everyone rain check tickets upon entry, so that if the event got rained out we have the option to attend a future event. good deal.

We've been camping this past week and have spent every day at the pool. Kids have been taking swimming lessons in the mornings and swimming for fun in the afternoon. We'll be there again next week as well, but came home to spend a night in our own beds.

Well, I had chemo on Thursday so ICK, but Becky is here and we're having lots of fun just hanging out. Went to see The Help yesterday, and it was fabulous!
