Your pages can bring emotion of the moment or even your very own personality with just the SIZE of title, elements or even the Photographs!
Telling the story doesn't have to be all about the words or journaling.
One of my favorite layouts ever is this one of my teenager.

Taking the BIG title and telling the story with just the title!
I am loud and very outgoing and most of my pages are made with large titles and large photos. If this was handwriting, the people that know speak of large size handwriting :
denotes characteristic traits such as showy, attention oriented, likes limelight, leader, politician and poor concentration ability.
I think showy and attention oriented are good things! BIG Elements, and photos can portray the dramatic flair also. Big events with FULL page photos bring the element of the emotion our large and loud!
There is nothing so dramatic as a full scene of a sunset or storm:
But on the complete other hand:
I think our Heather makes a huge statement with her tiny squares and photos:

Small photos, or teeny tiny elements, almost like handwriting analysis shows about the emotions of the moment also. Experts tell that small handwriting is done by people that are focused and can concentrate easily. One man even said it shows methodical and painstaking detailed orientated people write small.
Investigating this type of Storytelling for this weeks agenda, I learned a lot also. Taking that methodical detailed pages shows off the mental and emotional perspective or more introspection of the memory.
Whereas the big dramatic page is the extrovert of the memory! The flash, the bang.
Sunset with the person in a smaller photo, might bring more of the inner emotion of that time:
Now I now, some of you are going, hmmmmm...mine are neither huge like Anne's or small like Heather's the are varied. I got a giggle going because the people that study this in handwriting say:
A person with variable letter size is usually moody and unpredictable in nature.
and for those that are just regular size...sit back and smile because in handwriting this shows that you are well-adjusted and adaptable!
The main thing here to concentrate upon is before you begin a page, think about what story you want to tell, big and bold and dramatic or perhaps more detailed observations. The emotions you feel about the event or story can come across more vividly with the choice of BIG or SMall
