We wil never be Royals....

Supper is what my grandmother calls dinner. Evening meal. In her world, there's no difference in how light or heavy it is.
 
We call evening meal dinner around here, and I always confuse my kids when I talk about a big Sunday Dinner (at lunch time-- just a big family get together-type of meal)

Kelly..... are you British? or live in the UK?

For me dinner sounds like evening meal.... not sure I could call dinner anything earlier than 7pm....

you all have one thing in common...you all speak English...even with the differences from either sides of the pond....the language is the same.
You do not want to know the confusions I had when I first arrived...and there is a word that sounds and sometimes even spells the same for so many things... LOL
