They are saying that a big storm is hitting us Wed-Friday. I'm thinking if it unfolds like they say, we won't have any out of town relatives coming to visit and possibly we could be stuck at home instead of going to our parents house Christmas eve and Christmas day. Wouldn't that suck? (or totally rock?) :fruit

we are in the same boat! went to the store tonight... just in case... scheduled a day of vacation for Wednesday... ready for it, kinda looking forward to it... now watch it won't happen! LOL

I mean, it could go either way... wouldn't it be fun to stay at home all day in your jammies and not worry about making a big dinner???? Then again, I would probably miss my familly too...

It's quit snowing up here- for now. My folks are supposed to be coming from Watertown- we'll see how that goes.....

Oooh...I'm in Sioux Falls! I have family coming from Fargo. The weather might not be as bad up north...let's hope!

shhhh...don't tell him, I would miss my family but not DH's! :rofl

They just upgraded our forecast. 12-18+ inches and high winds. I'm all good with storms until the weather guy mentioned power failures and then I started to freak a little. But at least we don't live in the middle of the country...that would be bad.

EEk! I think it would be fun, although I would miss our families. I am kind of glad we already got our big storm out of the way. There is still lots of pretty white stuff to look at but no one is stranded anymore. Although there are still people without power. I feel really bad for those people.

ahahahaha!! i for one, would love it but lucky me...my in laws came to us this year! LOL!!!!!

the news is saying we could get 10" to 15" of snow on top of ice... fun for travelers!

stay safe and warm everyone....and good luck for those hoping to be snowed in without their inlaws! :giggle

I'm watching the weather right now. We are forecasted (90% probability) to have a White Christmas for the first time since 1962!!

I bet there are a lot of excited children (of all ages) keeping their fingers crossed for the snow!

They just upgraded us to a blizzard warning. Unfortunately it's not that bad in town right this minute so we are headed over to the inlaws. If we get snowed in there, I may not live to see Christmas day. It's time for lots and lots of :wine

It's been pretty calm here so far- we got about 3 inches during the night, but the wind is supposed to really pick up after supper. My parents decided to stay in Watertown, so it's just us tonight and tomorrow. I'm kinda looking forward to a nice, calm, uncrowded Christmas.
