granted,he's known my parents for like 15 years so it wasn't a big deal.. or not 15.. erm. math has failed me.

whatever.

I was worried that there'd be some weirdness.. as he's in a different role with them now :p but my dad was soo excited to see him LOL they chatted about planes and motorcycles and so forth and it was great. I'm pretty sure this is the first boyfriend i've ever had that my dad could carry a convo out with... and didn't hate. you know.

good stuff.

pretty sure my mom is still weirded out by it all but she'll get use to it eventually :p

oh that's awesome. i am reading between the lines that you were (maybe?) a little nervous?? were you? i think that's really cute. i'm so happy for you. :)

my parents have been awkward and i've not seen them for 3 months.. (ie the entire length of the relationship thus far :p ) so I was nervous :p LOL you never know with these things. my dad could have been entirely embarrassing and done dad things lol

dads. LOL it doesn't matter how old you are, they are always good for embarrassment. ;)

totally.. haha. i half expected a "what are your intentions with my daughter" speech.. :p

Meeting the parents or parents meeting the BF is nervewracking. UGH. Much hated.
I am glad that they hit it off in a BF meeting GF's parents role now. I bet you are relieved at that :D

LOL at "dad things". They're good for that, aren't they? :) I'm glad that it went well!

Cool! Glad it went well! I just hate family awkwardness - so stressful!!

Ugh. Hated those meetings. I'm sure my poor boys will be the same with me one day. Poor girls. They'll have no idea what they're walking into. lol. And now that we're having a girl...with two older bro's and an overprotective daddy...oy! Come to think of it, she probably won't even have a date until she's 25. lol.

yeah my dad is excellent at "dad things".... oh the embarrassment!
