just a super short flight as connor was flying.. my new guy is a pilot and he's been talking about taking connor up for a few weeks now. Flight #1 was aborted 1 foot off the ground :p and connor cried and cried.. was a bad night.. we were having difficulty scheduling round 2.. but finally got to go last night. kid was sooooooooooooooo excited. he was the only one on the controls for a few minutes and it was like..the greatest moment in his little life so far. He was so wound up and happy by the time we landed LOL i thought he was going to need some serious tranquilizers to get to bed last night haha. we're going to go many more times I'm sure... it was def amazing to see connor SO freaking happy :heartlub
 
My dh is a pilot and he takes Sean up (almost 8) and he loves it so much, too!

Me... no thanks.
 
i was really worried i was going to barf :p i don't do so hot in commercial airplanes nevermind a lil cherokee.. but i was fine LOL i also took meds before going jic ^__^
 
I'll bet your son was so excited he couldn't stand it! Now he gets to tell friends at school!
 
I will fly commercially, but I don't like it. I wouldn't get in a 152/172 if my life depended on it. Especially with my husband flying it. :rofl
 
So awesome! I'd love to do something like that with our kids. Think Dusty would care if I got a pilot boyfriend? :giggle
 
That's sooo cool! My kids would love to go up in an airplane! One of the radiologists I work with said he would take the kids and I someday... I should take him up on it! Did you get any pics?

it was getting to night.. (erm wow, great sentence :p ) so not really.. we both only had our phones so we did our best.. I'll get better pics next time :p

That is sooo cool La. I can understand why ce was so excited! I am with Angie though....you wouldn't catch me up there in one of those wittle planes.
 
BTW....you are crazy. Those are not chubby cheeks girl. You look so happy. I love it!
 
CE looks beyond happy! And you look super happy, too (even if you were feeling queasy inside)--cheeks? Pshaw, you've got a beautiful smile. The next layout with CE, he needs to be wearing a cape!
