Watcha Got Planned

NO PLANS - and I love it! It's been a lazy morning here and I think we will be staying home all day - my kind of Fri.!

For us, I could go a couple different ways, but I think I'm gonna take the fun path. See, I have a dresser that I have started stripping to refinish it, so I probably SHOULD work on getting that done. BUT what I would rather do (and so probably will) is pack a picnic lunch, load up our bathing suits and towels, and take the kids to the community pool. Plus, I've promised Meagan a tea party today with iced tea and Oreo cookies. So really, it sounds to me like there's just no room for sanding a dresser in the midst of all of that!

Oh and one other thing, class lists are posted at the school today. It's a new school (new state actually) for my kiddos, so they're pretty excited about this. It's always fun to go find out who your teacher will be and all that. So maybe we'll go check out the class lists and then go school supply shopping as well. So no, definitely not gonna have time to sand the dresser.... maybe later tonight when it has cooled down outside... maybe I'll think about the dresser then! maybe.

Ha ha... I think that dresser can wait until winter when there's nothing else to do! It's been so humid here that I don't even think paint could dry.

I have to work until 5:00, but then I have a bunch of my college girlfriends coming into town. We're going to BBQ and drink wine in the backyard and then tomorrow we're all taking a bus trip to Chicago to see a Jimmy Buffett concert. I can't wait! I think it's my 10th tailgate trip to see Buffett and it never gets old! :) Fins up baby!

Going on a cruise...like NOW!!!! Have a fun weekend everyone! We'll be back on Monday! :wub

Sounds like everyone is going to have a nice Friday.

As for me, I am in Las Vegas this weekend for my step-brothers wedding. Today my step-brother and step-sister went skydiving. I'm not sure what we are going to do though. I want to run by the pawn shop from Pawn Stars because apparently they like Erte as much as me. I would love to see what they have over there....

then tonight dinner at a steak house. yum!

To survive this Friday the 13th.. :D
Our day hasn't started the good way, we had a fire alarm in the building at 3am so a nap now would be nice. But it won't happen with 2 little ones at home.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

I am going to do a few layouts cuz I am itching to create. I haven't done a layout in about 10 days I think! :groan

Then this evening I am going to put on a good movie, have a glass of wine and dig through all of my fabric stash to pick fabrics for the quilt I want to make for my Grandson next week. He's coming in like 2 weeks and I don't have anything for him yet!

We are running some errands today. We need to pick up some birthday gifts and groceries. Then we'll be hiding in our air conditioned house. It is so hot! I'm still recovering from some mild sunburn that I got from a water park visit earlier this week.

Normally Friday is cleaning day, but since my DH is gone, I think I'll try to scrap a little instead. But we had a bad storm run through last night and all the sand in the sand box flowed out into the lawn. So we have to clean that up today. Gotta take the good with the bad :).

Have a great Friday the 13th everyone!

Oh yeah and don't forget THE CHAT. Buckets of fun and prizes. BUCKETS I tell you.

lets see, its 1 20 pm already LOL
I went grocery shopping already so thats done!!!
Its Friday so ill ust veg all night lol
paint my toes and nails
i bought some killer loud colors
ummm what else
oh, im cooking dinner for tonight LOL i DEteST cooking but seeing as noone else here cooks it falls on me lol
i might try to catch up on some scrapping but i kind of need a serious break from it

well, i got accomplished what i wanted... and am taking a breather then getting back to it (gotta roll with the cleaning bug when i get it!). went through all the kids clothes, got rid of stuff that's too small or they don't like, rearranged the dressers to accommodate school uniforms etc. went to the grocery, cleaned out the fridge and deep cleaned the kitchen. feels so good (and looks not half bad, either!). next i will attack the kids little toy bins (why girls collect so much little crap, i'll never know, but, then again, i did and do, too! ;)) and then finish the couple loads of laundry somewhere in the queue.

so nice to go into the weekend without chores to get done! :)

Wow Amy! How do you do all that and take care of kids and a newborn? I am amazed. :notworthy

seriously amy! if i were home ALONE and had NO ONE to take care of but me, i don't think i could get all that done in one day! lol! i need to take lessons from you!

we did the pool all afternoon. took lunches and snacks (and mcdonald's sweet tea... my addiction). we had a blast, but i think we stayed just a bit too long... we hit melt-down mode. dontcha just love that! lol

we stopped by the school to check out class lists... all 3 of the kids have someone in their class that they at least a little bit know, so i'm happy for that.

then we stopped by and got some ice cream. i think we'll have a later dinner, cuz i think our neighbor may come over and hang out with us, but she doesn't get home until after 6:00. so i figured we could afford an ice cream snack... plus chocolate ice cream with crunchy nut/sprinkle coating sounded DELISH... takes me back to childhood! :)

We took the boys to their ENT (an hour away) for hearing tests this morning. Got some bad news on Jacob's ear so I'm still absorbing that. Prior to that we took them to the duck pond across from the clinic and I got some really cute photos. :)

Had lunch, got groceries, came home. Eric went to work and while the boys napped I worked on my resume and edited photos. Did some laundry, packed some clothes up (we leave for a week's vacation on Sunday).

Need to make supper soon. When the trio is in bed I'll hop on the elliptical for a bit and then I have some scrapbooking to catch up on!
