wassup for the weekend?

i can no longer say "getting ready for my trip to hawaii" or "i'm in hawaii"

so my thhhhhrrillinggggg weekend includes cleaning the house and getting things back into place. :whoopdedoo

i'm hoping for a hair cut today. trying a new salon. you know that's all treacherous territory.

the man gets in 0700 sunday from hawaii/guam/hawaii. and i'm working the coffee bar at the church sunday.

not so much fun but NEXT weekend is shaping up to be a hoot. :martini

Not sure what is in store for this weekend. We have a winter storm on the way which will dictate how things go. I have a ton to do with DS's bday party next weekend. So lots of cleaning and moving stuff to storage for me if weather permits. Also want to relax a bit, scrapbook and read.

Not much, just karate tomorrow and birthday party. Hoping to keep it simple :pray

Unfortunately, we have a funeral to attend tomorrow which makes for a sad day. Sunday will be spent as usual. Going to church and doing load upon load of laundry. I lead such an exciting life.

aweee....lesley sorry to hear of your loss you'll be in my thoughts and prayers, today [[hugsss]]

we have to take my hubbub's truck and get the carelux put on Again...it was coming off on one side and they have to reapply it..
good news is
we will be in the 'big city' and can walk the river trail, meet up with my oldest daughter for lunch and get some shopping done for our valentine anniversary trip to hawaii! :happydance2

I have to do tons of homework and normally we planned to go out in the evening, but yaaay*ironic* it snows and rains so it's not possible to get out:(

Same here not to much going on this weekend ( I kinda like it that way though)
Family night tonight (carpet picnic and movies)
Sat hubby has to work until 2 I have some crafts planned like Valentines and a photo shoot with with girls and my metal heart
Then Sunday we are going to Auburn to check out some churches there. We are thinking about moving there in a couple years with my in-laws (they currently live in the wine country of northern CA) so that might be fun!

We're going to do a little window shopping for furniture I think. Or not. Totally depends on what we feel like. I'm pushing for dinner out either tonight or tomorrow - again, we'll see what we see. Can you tell this will be a "do whatever" weekend? My only "must do" is grocery shopping. Other than that, I am open to whatever adventure comes our way!

Auburn in what state???

Leslie, I'm sorry to hear about your loss... *hugs*

Julie, I LOVE furniture shopping!!! So much fun! Caleb needs a new bed so that we can finally move Mathieu out of his crib.. long overdue!

As for me, right now I'm taking care of my poor sick Caleb. He's had a cold all week but this morning he was crying and saying he wasn't feeling well. I think he has an ear infection or something of the likes. I wasn't feeling well either.. going on three weeks. We'll see what the Doc says this afternoon.

As for the weekend, well it's my birthday tomorrow... no idea what's going on. I know the boys have gymnastics, but that's all I know. I know that my parents will be coming over because Caleb called my mom this morning all sad and asking if she was coming for a visit... so we'll see what's in store for me.

Sunday we'll be bringing the boys skating and hopefully finding a new bed for Caleb. That's about it...

BOOOORING. LOL I'm sure Sunday will be spent watching football and the rest of it will just be lazy. I really should clean my house. I should. hahaha

sorry for your lose leslie

my 16 year olds truck is in the shop so hes been using my car to go to work so im stuck at home all weekend!!

Furniture LOOKING is fun; furniture shopping kills me, because its SO expensive! And there's a lot of stuff I want. I just have such a hard time spending that much money!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Leslie.

I agree, Julie. Furniture looking is fun. I hate spending that kind of money, though.

Tomorrow we're having a rollerskating birthday party for my youngest. The best part is he is going to sleep over at a friend's house afterward..woohoo!
Sunday is housework day. And I think we'll be doing a school project: Create a robot out of geometric, household items. That could be very interesting (or not! :) )

Oh Leslie, I'm sorry for your loss as well. Renee, I hope your little one gets to feeling better soon. I'm in the same boat - my youngest is sick. It will probably derail most the plans we had for the weekend, including a birthday party she was invited to tomorrow. She's sad about it. *sigh* On a good note, I think I will be sneaking out with my good friend to scrap. I've just lured her away from paper scrapping and I'm teaching her the digi ropes. :)

What are you getting for your birthday Renee? No big plans?

Sorry for your lose Leslie.

My oldest DD has another concert and one of my DSs might have a wrestling tournament. So it will be a rock n' roll wrestling weekend. Other than that a trip to Sams Club is long over due. I suppose I ought to get diapers before we are out, lol.

Leslie I am so so sorry.

As for me mil has all the kiddo's and dougs at a meeting and I get the fun task of painting Tyson's new room. Oh joy :)

So sorry Leslie {{HUGS}}

Happy Birthday Renee!

Those with sickies, I hope everyone gets better soon!

Have fun furniture shopping Julie!!

I just found out that my BFF's ex-husband *may* be at this kids b-day party tomorrow, ugh! I've done my best to avoid him for more then a year (which is hard b/c he's my hubby's BFF, long story!) So, I'm kind of having a little anxiety attack, I can't be fake and pretend I don't hate him...I don't want to be rude (because he will try to hug me and what not) in front of a bunch of people I don't know, so I'm thinking of not going....ok, back to my corner :peekin

snow.
we will most likely be snowed in... they're calling for about a foot of snow. Normally, I really wouldn't mind... but my husband got stuck in Oklahoma b/c of this storm. He was suppose to come home last night but now we probably won't see him until Monday. He's been gone since last Monday. I know I probably shouldn't complain seeing as how there are so many wonderful military wives out there that deal with this on a regular basis for much longer periods of time.... but DANG!

Oh well... I'm sure the kids and I will have fun playing out in it. I've stocked up on the baking goodies so we can make something yummy when we come in from the cold!

Btw... Leslie... you are in my prayers, sweetie!
