Warning TMI but I have to say

I actually read a research piece this week where they believe bras and deodorants with aluminium in it might give a much greater risk of getting breast cancer as it can obstruct your lymphe nodes in your arm pits. Don't know how reliable or medically correct the piece is but better safe than sorry! Take it off! ;)

Preach it sister!!

That's a myth, but being comfortable and happy is good for your health so... :)

yes

my doctor said when I stopped smoking that it was making me so ill that she rather I smoked but keep it to 5 a day....

You can always switch to deodorant (not antiperspirant) in Camp they always ask the kids to bring deodorant because they do so much walking hiking and activities, that they need to be able to sweat...
not sure about giving up my under-wired bras...though these days I hardly ever use a bra as am 90% of my time in bed.....

I woke up with an underwire trying to impale me. I was not happy.
Sleeping with my bra on is just not going to happen. ...... Under wires be damned.

A good fitting is definitely the answer, and as far as I am aware the fitting itself is free. The trick is then finding a decent bra without all the padding, made from natural fibres, and still within the parameters of the fitting. Has anyone else noticed it's almost impossible to find unpadded cotton bras...

YES! All I want is an unpadded, unlined, un-anything cotton bra. The only ones I've found that fit that criteria and are fairly comfortable are from Victoria's Secret's Cotton Lingerie collection. They only carry them online and not in the store, and you have to be careful to choose "unlined" because they also come in a padded style.

I don't want them any BIGGER, people!

I lived through my 20's bra-less , but then again that was hippie times...

Something I discovered here in England is that if you can have a bra fitting done by a store...you will never feel like that again....
They have Marks & Spencer & Debbenhams & I think Selfridges does a bra fitting thing too....
but it work for me taking it of!!!!!

LOOOOVE the hashtag!!!!!!!!!

:rofl:rofl:rofl

I used to be a bra fitter at Macy's. The vendor would come and train us. Then we had to do 15 correct fittings before being certified. Then our pictures would be put on the wall so customers knew who we were (not some random lady asking to measure your boobs, lol). I used to be able to know the size just by looking at the person. Trust me, we want women to feel the best they can.

That being said, mine fit just fine. But it is a necessary evil & it's the first thing off when I get home.
