Veterinary kits?

Hi Sherri - I couldnt find a specific one either - I'd be inclined to mix something like these in with a dog or cat kit (depending on your pet)
or
plus something like this

I love the idea from Justine, we have tons of sick kits that would work and tons of pet kits too, so may be a mix of them could be a solution like Justine said.

Good ideas... I will need them for Benson's health issues we are dealing with! Thanks, ladies!

What's going on with Benson?

We aren't sure. He's been vomiting or dry heaving, depending. Sorry, TMI-ish. We have had numerous xrays that don't really show anything that could be causing the issue, stopped his regular dog food, fasted him for a few days, started rice/chicken plain diet, and we still don't know. May need to do an ultrasound next - but that isn't even a good possibility to show if anything is wrong. I'm so confused. The pup, the costs of things that don't really help, medications that didn't work, and possible more test that aren't going to help. I'm a little down. Sorry for the long winded answer.

No worries, how long did it started? How long has he been in the rice/chicken diet? Cici has a really sensitive stomach (most greyhounds do). We found out that she does worse in a chicken and grain diet (of course because what are the odds?). She usually is diarrhea and not vomiting though. Did they tell you to try pepto bismol?

Pepto-Bismol Dosage For Dogs: The recommended dosage is 1 teaspoon for every 10 pounds, according to Dr. Klein. It can be offered to the dog every 6-to-8 hours, but if your dog still has diarrhea after a few doses, stop the medication and call your veterinarian.

It also works for upset stomach. You can give it with a bit of sweet potato, banana or even the tiniest amount of greek yogurt (help with the good bacteria).

silly thing but rub his belly or put some warm towels it helps with discomfort as for the rubbing warms his belly slightly.

Thanks, Dalis! WE are going to the doctor I think tonight or tomorrow. I'll ask about the Pepto. He isn't really acting differently, but that is a great thing - my silver lining. I might try non grain diet, or non protein. Maybe he can't digest it properly. This only started about 2 weeks ago, if that. It was worse vomiting, but then it lessened, but that could be the food intake as well. All sorts of questions and no answers. :( I appreciate your ideas and will chat with hubby. @Dalis
