Oh yeah. Afraid of the drive on the 405, afraid of the parking, and heaven help me, afraid of walking along that boardwalk with an painful left hip trying to keep up with two teens (my daughter and her boyfriend) and an eleven year old boy.

Would it be that hard to believe that, while I've been to Santa Monica many times, I've never been to Venice Beach? Which reminds me. I should probably DL the 2 gigs of pics off my big Canon. Or maybe I'll just stick with the smaller sneakier camera in my bag.

have fun! and don't be afraid of those things, there are enough crazy people at the beach to be afraid of.
 
Don't be afraid... just think of it as an adventure and that you're exploring and reporting back to the rest of us! :D I'm envious. I'd love to people watch there.
 
Don't be afraid, it'll be fantastic! Was just on the 405 on Tues coming back from Santa Barbara. It wasn't too bad in the middle of the day!
 
No? Phew, because I've been hearing horrible things on the radio about the clogs on the 405 through the pass from the Valley into LA. The day trip has been moved up to Saturday. *sighs*
