Valentine's Day Dinner?

We never celebrate V-day ON V-day. We usually wait to go have a date night the weekend after. That being said, it IS still V-day and I do want to have a special family dinner. I just can't think of what to make! What do you guys do for dinner on Vday if you spend it as a family?

We have whatever we would normally have. Not a big holiday in my house because I am the opposite of sentimental. Bad momma. lol

Well, I haven't planned ahead enough to do this... but a heart shaped pizza would be fun! You could even cut pepperoni in heart shapes to go on top.

We're having beef burgundy. Nothing too exciting, but not the normal weekday meal. :D

I really like the idea of heart-shaped pizza. I guess you could do heart-shaped burgers or other meat if you cut it right. :D

We are having meatball sliders. I'll tell them they were made with love. :rofl

We went out for dinner last weekend for Valentines(Which was wonderful!). Although, I'm cooking up dinner tonight; Going to make meat loaf, and steamed asparagrus, and tator tots. Nothing fancy, but hey... at least I'm cooking. LOL! (The hubby usually does the cooking in our house. :neener)

I've got a $15 Sonic Gift Card that we'll use later this evening for a candlelight dinner! YUM-O! LOL

we're having frozen pizzas tonight LOL
we leave in the am and i still have to get some stuff together so i'm not exerting myself for dinner :D

We're having whatever leftovers are in the fridge...it's swimming night every night at our house. :lmao But, I happen to know that one of the boys' teammates' birthday is today. I'm betting her parents are bringing cupcakes to practice, so they'll get them.

On a serious note, we never celebrate V-Day because our anniversay is just a few days later, so we always celebrate that instead of a manufactured card holiday. :whistle

my hubby made reservations for dinner with us and the kids! yay! should be a nice night. . . . no cooking for me~

we had fresh bread, roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts (hubby likes them really well) and chicken cordon bleu :)

We had a regular meal tonight but in a week or so we will go to eat a wonderful, messy BBQ meal at a joint we love. My husband and I really don't like to brave the crowds just to go out on February 14th-- the date is not important.

I ended up doing everyone's favorite - grilled salmon - with bread and cheesy potatoes and grilled zucchini and kahlua brownies for dessert. If I can find the energy to bake the brownies. Those will just be for dh & I since the kids had pllleeenty of sugar at school. LOL
