Hey all! I have been feeling inspired by our recent vacation chat, and I started working on putting an album together for last year's vacation. I would LOVE to have these all scrapped before we leave for this year's vacation, but since that's only 1 week away, I'm not holding my breath! :giggle

Still, I thought I'd share what I'm working on. If you have any vacation pages, please share! We can all use some inspiration!!

This isn't so PL-ish, but I did a timeline page for my intro:

These are amazing!!!
I'm already a little panicky about our vacation... we will go to Berlin for ten days in August, and since I have a daily diary, that means I'll come out ten days behind. Since one page takes me about two hours to finish, that means 20 hours additional work... and the day has never enough hours as it is.
On the other hand, my husband is looking forward to the diary-free days (I'm obsessing a little about it), so I'm gonna make the best of it... I can always simplify my style a little, I guess...

Here are a couple that I have done. I also have used Lili's 6x6 templates to just do photo collages and I buy the page protectors that are 4 6x6 slots and slide those into, but since you print books, you could just put 4 6x6 collages on a single page.

Maja, that's exactly how I'm feeling as well, which is why I kept my pages so clean and simple. Just throw the pictures on there, document a little of the story and move on with life. :)

Becky, I love how crisp & cleanyour pages look! Definitely a great reminder to keep it simple! :beat

I haven't posted many of these here (I should...) but I have been doing pocket style album from our Disney trip last September using Project Mouse stuff - I'm actually finished, just need to upload and print, and post the last few pages I made. Anyway, I'll just link you up to my Scrap Stack that I made for it:

I'm also finishing up a trip to San Francisco we did a year ago, also pocket style. I love doing it this way for vacations, however it's not any faster for me! I just like that I don't have to think too hard to make it look cohesive.

Rebecca - I really love your pages! The timeline is so cool.
Becky - love yours too! My San Fran album is similar in that it is mostly photos with minimal embellishing. I like that for vacations as there are soooo many pics.
Maja - good luck! I think if it were me I'd have to be content with skipping those days... or maybe just settle for writing things down physically? Whatever you decide to do, I'm sure it'll be awesome. I love your daily pages.

totally agree, there are so many pics with trips like that, if you try to get fancy, you'll never ever finish, let alone keep up with anything else. plus, people really just flip through to look at pictures anyway. maybe someday they'll really sit and read what we've written, but mostly my people just look at photos and recall their memories in their own words.

I'm trying to get caught up on our spring break trip to Florida in April, so that's what my gallery seems to have lately. Here are a few of the pages that are pocket pages:

and I REALLY jammed this page full of photos:
