Wednesday Sarita went to the dressing clinic, the woman changed it, said nothing-
Thursday evening she is bleeding again, Friday morning she has another appointment: incision opened again, again there was bleeding & discharge-
I made a bit of noise,
doctors came: finally they agreed with me- is infected-
she is on a new course of antibiotics (which I had to pay, as she is no longer on full time education nor on benefits) and another 10 days to 2 weeks bed :(
I was in such good mood that I had scrapped so much for the teams and still was managing forum & gallery...got into a bit of a bad mood so I kinda closed down...
scrapped a bit, slowly getting my anger and despair to calm down....
I know is gonna be all right- we are seeing MY doctor on Monday as I said otherwise I was gonna be writing to the papers...
like magic they found us an appointment-
My doctor is great- sure she will get to the bottom of this :)

Ah....hugs for you both. I hope your doctor can help. I wish her a speedy recovery so you both can get back to your normal routines.

Thanks to most of you here (and especially you girls whom we speak a bit more which is the case with the both of you) I have support... so I don't fall apart as I did some years ago....
it makes me angry that everything needs to be a battle....

I made a LO last week with a quote from Mother Theresa....

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle-
I just wish He didn't trust me so much!"

that is me :giggle

I started to get edgy because Sarita was in pain, we had to order take away as my legs can't take the weight today...so I thought hey, scrap-
I did- then I came here, always have so much love from you guys, it makes me feel a LOT better :heartlub:heartlub:heartlub:beat:heartlub:heartlub:heartlub
 
Oh Cyn I so wish there wasn't things like an ocean between us. I couldn't take away the pain but I could and would come help, even if was just making you a cup of tea.
 
I haven't said anything as I started TLP recently and not sure what is going on. But every time I read your updates I pray. I hope your DR gets some real answers.
 
I've been praying too. May the meds work and the infection subside, on schedule. Keeping scrapping those emotions, it's great therapy.
 
:heartlubJaye- like I said to Julie & Rae: you ARE a huge help already... you are part of ViVas too & you have been always there for me, with encouragement or a word of experience when I had need for solving stuff.... I too wish the distances were solvable ....but trust me...you are helping already:heartlub

she woke up much better today after 2 days of antibiotics...continuing my prayers for this to be a proper recovering now , I managed to sleep 4 hours (which is a good thing after the past 4 days) appreciate HUGELY all you all do for us...:heartlub:heartlub
 
Oh geez! Thankfully the antibiotics start helping quickly. Hope she's back to 100% soon!

Sarita just has to be miserable... and when they are miserable so are we as their parents. I hope the doctor can get this figured out for her so all she has to do is heal and get better.
 
I'm sorry! They'll get her straightened out, but in the meantime this sucks for her and you! I hope she's feeling better soon!
 
Oh no! Hope she gets to feeling better soon, thank goodness for modern medicine (although uncaring staff can be quite the annoyance)! Hopefully you two get things sorted and back on track soon! :hug

Aw geez. I'm so sorry that she's having trouble healing. I'm glad that the antibiotics are helping and that she seems to be doing better. You'll have to strap her into her bed and get her stay resting even after she starts to feel a little better, so her body can continue to heal without interruption.
 
Many healing vibes and thoughts are being sent your way ( including mine of course ) that has to help !
 
ACK! I hope Sarita is getting better now that the infection is clearing. I know this will help you be able to rest and recover from all of the worry. ((hugs))
 
So sorry for all the frustrations. Will continue praying for you both! Hopefully your doctor will be able to sort things out.
