Unsharp Mask Question?

What settings do you use?

I upgraded both my OS and my scrapping program (to PSE 8.0) and now I cannot remember my old beloved unsharp mask settings I used with PSE 5.0. I flatten and sharpen before posting online and the default setting is too much. I am getting super distorted text. I tried reading up on it and fiddling with it, but my attempts are not working out.

Any help is appreciated.

Hey Kristy!
I use a new setting and it seems to work pretty well. Makes everything sharp and crisp.

I use Amount 150% - Radius 0.3 pixels - Threshold 0 levels.

I loved my old one, too, but now I can't remember what it was!! ?!?!? If I remember, I'll come back and post that one, too!

I almost always use 50%, 0.5 radius and 1 level.
