So it is Half Term here in the UK, I'm missing being around and thought id pop by and just ramble

Ty is home from school all week, and is going Karate Monday - Friday 2 hours each day 12 - 2

He is having a blast so far, and hopes to grade to his next belt by the end of the week! So exciting! I'm so proud of what he has already achieved in these first 2 days! He really loves his Karate

Me, I'm missing my scrap time!, I'll catch up when he is back at school so its no problem, I just miss it!

Luckily I have tatpatalk on my phone so can check in the forums and such while the PC sits here gathering dust LOL

I need to get better organised for the end of term when he has 2 weeks off before Easter, as there will no doubt be another Karate course for one of those 2 weeks. I think its the 12 - 2 timeframe it messes with your morning and afternoon LOL

I get withdrawals, I really do! LOL

I know, we have just comeoff our major hols and between going away, having visitors and fighting the kids for the computer, my scrapping time was down to practically nothing. Happily now everyone is back where they should be and I have the computer and house to myself.

At least you should have some fun karate pages to do!

Sounds like his time off sure keeps you busy, Vicky!! One of these days, maybe I will get to experience what it's like to have the house to myself haha. Being a teacher has it's advantages, but it also means that when I have a day off, so do the kids LOL I think there should be a day or so here and there that the kids have to go to school but the teachers don't hahahaha

I want to see that!

Ty is 7 and being left with 20+ other 7 olds in his class let alone the entire school of 4-11 year olds just makes me shudder!!! LOL

Glad he enjoying his karate I'm in the uk to so half term herm here to my one son who is 13 I haven't seen much of he just pops back when he needs feeding lol,the other one is on his xbox or playing football when his dad comes home and gabbi is just gabbi
Tomorrow my husband is off so we're off out to a nerf shooting centre and tea
Got to admit I love school holidays gives me a change to lie in lol

Oh I love the lie in part too! I think it's hard this week because every day has something planned (all of which is the karate!) LOL

I like the long summer holidays where you can spread things out and have a few lazy PJ days

Ty loves his Wii U XBox and the iPad and of course the garden isn't a mud bath in the summer so we spend some happy lazy days at home too

Roll on summer!

Hurrah for half term lie ins! I had a lovely half term planned with lots of activities and day trips, then woke up full of flu on Sunday morning - bleugh. Instead we have had lots of pyjama days, Olympics watching and me feeling sorry for myself!

The 12-2 timeframe is a bit of a pain, not much time before or after it to get much done! Glad Ty is enjoying himself though!

So sorry to hear you have flu Kate, not nice at all xx hugs

I haven't managed to watch much of the Olympics, been able to catch the highlights here and there

I plan to have a PJ day Saturday! Hubby will take Ty football training and I'll start scrapping LOL

xx

Well that went fast didn't it back to routine this week, school lunches blurghhh, baby ballet, child's play, swimming lessons oh man wish I was dad sometimes

LOL it did go fast!

I'm going to finally get some scrap time today, yesterday was spent catching up in the house and yet another karate lesson, just a 1 hour evening session though!
