PSE refuses to open for me. I don't know what the problem is but when I double click on the icon or try to open it through start/programs nothing happens. And of course that just makes me want to scrap even more! I tried to install it again but it just wanted to repair it and then we it got half way through it was asking for Disk 1, which was in the CD drive so I don't know what is up with that either.

I picked up PSE 8 (on sale for $60 after rebate, btw) from Amazon last night but I have to wait for it to ship. My last thought is to unistall PSE 6 and try reinstalling it. Of course I will have to rebuild my Organizer that way. But I think that is my only option if I want to scrap today.

oh no! What a PITA!! I hope you can work it out...did you try restarting the computer?
 
Yep, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled and it seems to work fine. It automatically pulled in my photos too. phew!
 
whew! that is good news. I absolutely detest computer issues, b/c I have no idea how to fix them!
 
lucky Lisa... good to hear.. I hate when PSE crashes... makes my heart drop!
 
you know I had that once. I just uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, and it seemed to work.
