UGH!!!!

So I got my computer set up the end of last week, we got internet, everything worked fine over the weekend...and then...crash and burn. My computer decided it didn't want to work anymore. So DH set up his computer and we transferred all of my data to his hard drive so that I could at least scrapbook and browse the web until we find a solution (i.e. money to buy a new computer..lol).

So everything is fine and dandy...I installed my scrapbook software last night, finished up a page I was working on this morning, and went to export it. Runtime error and crash on my software. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work.

I'm seriously starting to get a little aggravated with technology.

Here's hoping I can figure out what's going on...I really wanted to try to do the June challenges since it's been 2 months since I've been able to complete them (plus I really really want that 30% off coupon in July!).

ARGH! You've been having trouble Lady Luck lately! I'm so sorry! Sometimes I tell my clients that technology is a curse & a blessing. When it works it's so much faster to get things done, when it doesn't you want to throw it all to the curb. Fingers crossed things get solved for you soon!

After talking to the ladies in the speed scrap today I found a work around at least. There is a website that does file conversions and I was able to convert the pdf (which I was able to export to...go figure) to a jpg. The good news is that I can scrap and share my layouts..gonna have to work hard to finish the challenges though. Very, very happy for the work around (even if it's a couple of extra steps)...it would have sucked to rejoin all my teams only to find out I wouldn't actually be able to share my scrapbook pages.

I am glad you at least found a work around. That would have me pulling out my hair. I just wish computers would just do what they are supposed to without all the problems.

Oh man! You're having quite the bad technology week. Sheesh! Glad that you've at least found a work around! Hopefully you can get a fully functioning computer again soon so you can scrap without having to worry about work arounds so much!
