Two Peas is closing

i was in the middle of trying to upload a layout to the gallery when it happened. first it was just error messages, and then the big announcement flashed across the site. :(

deft'ly feels like an end to an era.
 
I saw that last night too. So sad to see such a huge place just suddenly be gone. :(
 
I think they should have given a little bit of warning to the users; shutting down the forum is a bit of a rash move imho - also, all the video and tutorials going :(
 
Oh wow. That was where I found my first digi community, years ago. I noticed after I took a break for school that they had done away with digital stuff though. Very surprised to hear that.
 
it's just bizarre. it was my first scrapbooking site really and in its prime i spent many hours there - shopping, posting, and learning. i think 1/2 of my facebook friends are probably from there! i'm sad.
 
It's a shame. I never really hung out in the forums, but my gallery at 2 Peas is probably my most complete gallery. And I have some favourites in the paper scrappers there whose galleries I love to go through every so often.

Sad to see it all go.
 
it's very very sad... it was my most complete gallery too... and I haven't watched all the workshop videos for classes I bought, so now I have to rush through to watch them all in just a couple weeks... and the gallery was where I got a lot of my inspiration...

and as someone who's been on site creative teams for a few years now, I just can't imagine how hurt and shocked the Garden Girls are. All that hard work they've put into the site, just makes me so heartbroken for them... and some of them were designers for the digital portion of the store... I hope they find a home soon where they can inspire again...
 
I haven't been an active participant at 2peas in a long time, although I have just recently started posting layouts there (guess I won't do that anymore). But... 2peas was where I first dipped my hand into digital scrapbooking... and then promptly discovered the photography forum and became much more focused on that. I'm thankful for the friends I made there. The same friends I made at 2peas are the ones that encouraged me to start scrapbooking and continue to encourage and inspire me everyday.
 
2Peas was one of my first places where I started in the digiscrap scene. It has my most complete gallery as well.

lurking again....2 peas is my most complete gallery & where I got a lot of inspiration...loved browsing there. Very sad that another wonderful place is gone...sigh....
 
2 Peas was my first digi scrapping online site. I haven't hung out there for a while (who needs to with The Pad?) but was astonished to see it closing. Such an institution, must have been hard work to keep such a large site running as well as it did. Very sad.
 
Kinda suspected things weren't good when they shut down the digital side (since most were doing pretty good sales). Sad to see the first scrapbooking site I found gone.

Still can't believe it.
And crazy that my PeaBoard Title still says 2Ps Digital Creative Team. :huh
