Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house every creature was frantic especially, the computer mouse! Speaking of the computer mouse, do you have all your online shopping finished? I think I do, I hope I do. I just need to start wrapping and checking my list twice so I don't miss anything.

We did a ton of online shopping for Christmas this year. More than we have ever done. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime! It saved me this year. Amazon wasn't the only place I shopped online. I used Kohls, Nike, Old Navy, Target, Ulta and more I can't remember. I bought kids clothes, shoes, headphones, flat irons, electric razors, movies, games, etc. With going back to work, I just haven't had as much time to get to the store and shop like I used too. Plus, shopping online meant that I didn't have to fight the crowds only to find out that the last item was sold to the person in front of me! I made a note on my iphone and shared it with my hubby so we could keep track of all the things we bought online and which things had been delivered.

Time is running out for things to be shipped in time for Christmas. Here's a link for holiday shipping deadlines.

Did you shop online? If so, where did you shop and what did you buy? How do you keep track of what you bought and if it's been delivered?

I buy a lot online. As of an hour ago, everything I've ordered for the holidays is here, including matching PJs for the four cousins that just last week my brother decided the kids needed. After telling me last month when I mentioned PJs that his younger kid doesn't wear them. :cornfused Thank goodness Gap was having a sale!

Anyway, I use Amazon's app and screen shots of my emails to keep track of what I've ordered, what has shipped, and what I'm missing. Don't get me started on the issues I've had with delivery this year. No, really, it's been ridiculous and it'd take too long to cover. I'm just glad I stay on top of that stuff.

I bought most things online, but went shopping last weekend to finish up. I still have about 3 things coming, including DS's laptop that I am pretty upset about. I ordered it on November 22, then on Dec. 11 Dell emailed me that they cancelled it because of a "technical issue" and offered me the chance to reorder, which I did. It's now the 18th and it still hasn't shipped. I emailed them again and told them that I had to have it by Christmas. They responded with a shipping label that had been created, but no movement yet. I'm giving them another day and then I am going to cancel it myself and purchase elsewhere. Grrrr. No issues with anything else, though. I've ordered from Amazon, Kohl's, Best Buy, Old Navy, American Eagle, Target, and did a site to store from Walmart so I could get the 10% back from Ebates.

This week is the worst. I swear it's the busiest of the whole year, between school parties and gifts that have to be ready along with family stuff. I hope I can make it another day and a half until we are out for break.

online? yes i did a fair bit of that this year - my going to the IRL shops experiences this year proved fairly fruitless but i did a fair bit of 'clicking and collecting' for deals.
keeping track of the delivery stuff? um i had no system, i'm just glad things turned up; and i spent most of yesterday wrapping. Today's the kids last day of school until the end of January so i try to get most of the wrapping done before they're home all day and also most of the cleaning b/cos it's pretty impossible to see the floor for the lego and stuff after xmas

I use Gmail snooze to keep track of deliveries. I snooze the confirmation email until the day before it's supposed to arrive. That way, it's fresh on my mind, and if it showed up early I can check it off.
I actually did more store shopping this year than online. I wasn't impressed with the online deals, so I went to the stores instead. Plus, Amazon has ticked me off. My ''prime" delivery has been so horrible with the things I did buy online I cancelled it. I'm not paying more for this crappy service.

Did you shop online?
I did 95% of our shopping online this year and probably 80% of it on Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend!

If so, where did you shop and what did you buy?
Costco- xbox bundle (santa!); Kohls- clothes; Home Depot- Leaf Blower; Amazon- books; Walmart- Chromebook; Best Buy- Video Games; Monitor & Printer; Target- sheets & Kitchenaid Mixer; Children's Place- Christmas Jammies; Sephora- cocofloss & samples

How do you keep track of what you bought and if it's been delivered?
Nothing specific- just my brain! For emails, I don't delete the shipping email until I've received it & double checked the order was right!

I have only to pick up four tins of popcorn for my bigs tomorrow during grocery shopping. I did stocking shopping today at dollar storet. Just for kids in house.
The littles think we are going on an adventure Christmas Day. No presents. Just stockings. But once they get in Van the hover boards they think mom and dad have already told them are out of the question will be waiting (and yep amazon prime has already delivered)

I definitely shopped a lot online... starting on Thanksgiving weekend because I'm always with my sister and with my two boys and her two boys, we are able to figure out what they all want and split the gifts up between us. We've done it that way for years and it's worked well. :) I keep an excel spreadsheet with my budget (boring I know) so I don't overspend and then I also have a column for "ordered" and "received" so I can keep track of all the packages! As of right now I think I am done and ready to go. I even have the teacher gifts already AND the darn secret santa gifts for my boys at school. Those are the ones I seem to always be scrambling for at the last minute.

I did a little shopping online this year... but mostly we made a commitment to shop local. Too many empty store fronts these days, so we decided to invest in our neighborhood.

The bulk of the online ordering we did was done for Clara during the Black Friday sales.... Too Faced for make-up, Hydroflask for a new water bottle and Redbubble for stickers for that new water bottle.

My husband and I do a book club of just the two of us (we took a break for a few years and decided to start back again this year), so I ordered books for that from Amazon.

Clara wanted a small inconspicuous "fidget" to play with during class, so I found her a fidget ring on Etsy.

Oh... and my son is a big fan of The Onion, so I ordered him a hoodie.

Other than that, everything was pretty much done in person at a local store!

Amazon online, Target, Five Below for other little things.

I'm waiting on my packages as we speak. They should be here tomorrow and Friday! Woot.
Then wrapping, not woot! :giggle

I'm not done... one more person, I'm waiting on DH. It's his Mom and she is so hard to buy for, and we always wait to hear from her. This is normal though. If he doesn't give me ideas, I'm picking and then sending it direct from Amazon.

I did almost ALL my Christmas shopping online this year! It was GREAT!! We live way out in the boonies and have to travel an hour and a half to get to the stores so I really appreciated my computer this year. :) And we are done with that part of it all. Now to wrap things up. I don't enjoy wrapping. But I do like seeing all the gifts under the tree.

I took one shopping day with my hubby and we bought a few things in a neighboring city that has more shops (mainly we just wanted a day to ourselves!). Then I came home and did most of the rest on Amazon. Today I picked up a few things around town & I'm officially done! I would say about 75% OFF it was done on-line.
