Turkey hunt instead of Elf on the Shelf?

Or a squirrel hunt? I've heard of the Elf thing only last year, and have seen pics taken by folks of their Elfs' adventures...what are some that can be used for a Turkey Hunt? For an 11 and 16 year old?
