What do you have planned for your day today? Work for me, but even better, our microwave will be delivered today! Woot! :happydance2 About a week and a half before christmas, I was using it to defrost, and BLAH. Quit working in the middle of the cycle, no warning, no fanfare, no explosion. Just quit. Believe me when I say you don't know what you've got 'til its gone. So we've been without it almost a month, and I'll never take it for granted again! LOL!

So. Work, microwave, Target trip at lunch. That's the extent of my day. What wonderfully exciting things do you have planned?
 
Back to work....bleh. We are having pavers put in front (driveway) and back (patio) this week, so that's exciting. Today at lunch, I need to run back to the Gap and pick up the exchange that the lady forgot to put in my bag yesterday :rollingpin Oh and getting my new computer set up and attempting scrap on my new CS4! I'm so scared and excited :spin
 
New microwave for Julie and new CS4 for Jenni...hmm...nothing fun like that here. BUT...my kids are both going back to school today. I'll be taking down Christmas (blah) and getting organized while they are gone.
 
nothing new for me...

i need to clean the loft where the kids play - it looks like the kids toys not only vomited themselves everywhere but also did the deed like rabbits overnight... we're pretty strict about cleaning rooms before you leave them, but i've been needing to go through all their stuff and filter out the stuff they don't need/use for a while, so i told them to just leave it. so, the loft and perhaps some new type of storage. we will see.

other than that, will hit the gym and the grocery store... how i forgot to get butter, i'll never know.
 
blahness for me... I'm really not feeling well today, haven't been since yesterday but being called in last night for work did me in... I have a headache, my throat is sore and I just feel icky... I wish this cold would just take over my body and be done... so I think Mathieu and I will just lay around today...
 
Well our fire alarms last night decided to quit working but in a very loud way. They were going off just because they are old. It reminded me of college, lol. So I'm off to Homedepot. Then laundry, take down Christmas and work on some BYOC goodies (yay!!)

I'm sitting here at work.... with no email for the second day in a row. They switched servers over the holiday's and we've been mail less. It's pretty hard to get your head back in the game when your life line is broken.
 
woke up early, work out done, one kid on the bus, showered, next kid brought to preschool, cleaning a bit, computer break, selling stuff on Craigslist, banking stuff, cpmputer time, pick preschooler back up, lunch, DD to gymnastics, do my mom's nails, DD brought back from gymnastics, naps for the girls and scrap time for me....hmmm - I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff but that's the gist of it! Sounds like some of you have much more exciting stuff going on!
 
Work now then a playdate. I am looking forward to a little chit chat time for the moms while the boys play nice. Then dinner and hoping to scrap tonight. I also need to start packing for our trip on Thursday. We are going to a kid themed hotel/indoor water park for a few days. I am looking forward to a little relaxation time! We were supposed to take this trip before Christmas but the big snow storm cancelled our plans.
 
errands, some house cleaning, final storage of christmas ornaments and some tanning. woot!
 
work. blah. how i can get so spoiled with a few days off never ceases to amaze me. i got the christmas stuff put away last night, but my kitchen paid the price so now i'll have to clean it when i get home. other than that it's back to the grind with emma and camden both back at school and pre-school respectively. oh and not-so-patiently waiting for a bonus check to arrive so i can go and get my NEW iMAC!!!!
 
kids went back to school today.
i love getting back into routine.

my husband but me new computer parts (basically a completely new computer)
and got it all put together
and can't get the new windows to start
so i'm packaging it all back up and sending it to Porta Tech
via UPS
and they will fix it.

then i am working at jennas prek for a couple hours.
then i am sewing badges on my 2nd sons scout uniform
then i need to get my tumbling paper work together.
start gathering my stuff together for taxes
and tonight we have pinewood derby..

busy busy..
back to routine, just like i said!
 
1. I need to fold 3 loads of laundry
2. Clean the kitchen
3. Take the xmas tree down
4. Do some scrapping with this month's BYOC
5. Do some designing

In between all these give k a massage and bath, pick dd up from school, help her with her homework and cook dinner. :) What an exciting day ahead. I can only do #4 and #5 when dd's at school and k is sleeping.

It's a normal vanilla day here. On my agenda is: some meal planning and grocery shopping, going for a walk, scrapping a little, cleaning, making dinner, and finally getting my blog up to date.
 
I don't have much to do but try to finish up the house work and get a blog post up. I am so lazy though. Its just one of those days around here.
 
i've been at work since 9 and i get off at 4. then, it's off to the gym to burn some of this blubber off my bodice. then...home to make dinner and nothing else really. maybe i can get my hubbster to make out with me. any tips?
 
We haven't had a microwave for about 2 years now, there are times i really miss it...

As for today's plans nothing special, just survive the day. Still very, very sick here.
kidders are sick and Tyson my baby is so sick, he has lost his voice, has a horrible cough and an ear infection. The past 2 nights we have gotten about 4 hours sleep each night so I am not sure how my eyes are even open at this point. haha
 
Oh Katrina...poor little baby. I hope he gets well soon!
And Renee - I hope you are feeling well soon.

Let's see...I'm at work(but not wanting to be here!). Hubster is at home waiting for the heater repair guy to come with a new motor and fan so the whole house will stop shaking when the heater comes on. The boys are still out of school today...why, oh why??? :rollingpin Tonight is swim practice for both boys. Then early to bed for everyone. Oh yeah...and somewhere in there we need to eat dinner. :think
