it's tuesday... what are you up to today??

me, just a bunch of the usual daily stuff... laundry to do, stuff to put away. i finally cleaned the kids craft room (= our formal dining room table). whew - that took a couple of hours. it had literally layers of projects.
 
My kids are home from school today and tomorrow (had school Monday though, not sure what is up with that) so I'm hoping to put them to work outside getting some yard work done. And we have movie night planned since it feels like a weekend.

ooh...and I have to remember to put food in the crockpot so we have something to eat! LOL!
 
mmmm crockpot is a sweet idea... have to dig through and see if i have anything that can be thrown together... will save us from eating a cassarole unless i head to grocery store sometime today! :)
 
Seth (kinda) had his first dentist appt today. He is 2.5 and just didn't want to sit still. Finally the hygentist was like maybe we should try again in a few months...so we left.
 
at work. :( yesterday was a massively hectic day so i'm hoping for a slower paced one today. the bank is closed tomorrow for veterans day so i'm definitely looking forward to that.
 
I am working today, then DS has tennis lessons. DH should be home tonight and I am hoping he can pick up some take out for dinner. It is a rainy yucky day here today and I don't want to go out anymore than I have too. We have tomorrow off and I can't wait. Work is so slow right now it is killing me to be here!!
 
I have so much wash to fold and put away that there's a very real chance I may get buried alive in it. :lol

We got take-out last night (Chinese!) so I want to cook tonight. What I am making all depends on what time my Peapod delivery arrives. We're either having Lemon Chicken over white rice with broccoli -or- Brown Sugar Meatloaf with mashed potatoes & green beans!

Ok I'm starving! :lol
 
oh yum gina! what is brown sugar meatloaf and can you share the recipe? My laundry is almost done!!!!! well 5 loads left and not put away but whatever!

It's gorgeous here today....going for my walk, cleaning up my play area and trying to get some work done...i need to start on my christmas gifts!

I'm so jealous of your Peapod service! I want it but it's not in our area yet. :madd
 
Home today with all three girls. I kept Selah and Braelyn home from school today because they have been coughing, but it's not bad and they have been fine all day. Argh... Hate that they are missing school. I have been cleaning house, doing laundry, and having school with the kiddos in between their "recess" time (the time that I am cleaning!). I am doing some family hair this afternoon and tonight in the basement and it's going to be a very basic quick dinner for me and kiddos as husband is working a bit late. I also have no van because it is at shop getting fixed today. :( You all sound like you are having great days!
 
We are enjoying a day in today. We just had tons of rain from Ida and it's still a little gloomy outside today. So I think we'll bake some cookies and I'll tackle the laundry and usual houseworky stuff. And hopefully some good scrap time too.

Ooh yum for crock pot meals and cooking something yummy! I should probably decide what I'm making as well. Hmm...
 
Usual Tuesday, laundry and groceries. But hopefully a little scrapping this afternoon. My youngest son has church school tonight. Boy my life is boring on Tuesdays, lol.

Rosie however has discovered the phone makes a lovely beeping sound when you press all the buttons. And if you leave it on to long...it makes an even cooler noise!! Right now she is chatting away on it. Her Tuesday rocks!
 
hmmm nothing exciting. Gonna go down town at 11 and rent the new movie ugly truth and up for the kids (and us LOL) Check the mail, come home and do some cleaning, go pick Jayden up from school, make supper. I think I am gonna make sweet & sour chicken with rice for supper.
 
No adventures here. Work, and I'm trying to decide if I'm sick or not. I continually wake up feeling marginally crappy, but not so bad that I feel like I can stay home. But that's been going on for over a week now. I'd rather get sick and be done with it.
 
today i get to stay home and look after my sick bella!
Otherwize we would be out at walmart getting the movie UP!
 
I am home, buried in vacation laundry and a messy house. I'm trying to get some scrapping done now. Early this evening I'll be at our church helping with the children's Christmas program. Ben literally has a hundred sheets of school work to catch up on from our week away and we've been spending a couple hours every night trying to get through it.

I need to figure out what I am cooking for dinner. Something with some ground turkey I need to use. Any suggestions?
 
Well, I should be cleaning my house but instead I am working on pages for my teams and hanging out in the forums which I think is much more fun than cleaning. I will be running around crazy this evening though trying to make the house look all clean and like I did something more than scrapping and hanging out in the forums :giggle

Oh, is that out today? I am wanting to pick this up for my kids. We went to see it in 3D at the movie theater and just loved it. Maybe I will surprise them with it this evening.
 
I hope all the sickies get better!
Today I have work then head home for our family dinner followed by a research paper due and test due by midnight! Oh for fun!
