Is anyone else having trouble today and yesterday with Google Chrome not working. I get a weird message that says, "He's dead, Jim." Either Chrome ran out or memory or the process for the webpage was terminated for some other reason. Sound familiar?

Hmm... I think I stumbled onto a fix. I went to settings and clicked on relaunch Chrome in Windows mode. It came up but not with a look that was familiar. So back to settings and I clicked on relaunch Chrome on desktop. Now it looks back to normal. I don't like it when I fix things and don't quite understand what happened and why I was able to fix it.

Weird. The only time I seem to have trouble with Chrome is when I try to watch something on Vimeo.

I'm glad you found a fix!!

If you were getting that message no matter what site you tried to go to, then I'd guess the "Chrome ran out of memory" part is true. Chrome was using up too much of your memory (and relaunching it freed it up) and/or you had other programs running that used up a lot of memory (and they stopped using it for whatever reason). "Memory" here means RAM, not your hard drive.
