trouble unzipping?

Is anyone else having trouble unzipping files from TLP? I've been able to unzip files from elsewhere today, but not from here. =( I tried to clear my cache and restart...still nope =(
 
I had a stubborn one yesterday, but eventually I got it to redownload and work.
 
Make sure you delete the old zip (including from recycle bin) before you redownload so you are sure you have a 100% fresh copy of it.
 
Hi Farrah-

I just wrote you back in CS. I reset your links for you, so as Angie said just be sure to delete the current file off of your hard drive (out of your trash bin) before your redownload. That should solve the problem for you. If you are still having trouble just shoot me an email back and we will fix it :)
 
I've tried deleting everything...I've tried using a different expander (stuffit expander and zipeg)...I've tried a different browser...and I've tried repairing and verifying my permissions...NOTHING is working! BOO. It's the universe telling me to stop buying so much! LOL But srsly...I don't know what to do. =(
 
I had trouble unzipping yesterday, downloaded three times with two browsers. Finally got it to work by downloading with Chrome which I never use. Finally worked.
 
ME!!! I had to clear my downloads and my cache 6-7 times (and re-download the file) to get the download to unzip finally. Drove me nuts! lol
 
Just curious...has anyone tried to restart? Laura and I were wracking our brains about this earlier....I am totally guilty of restarting once or twice a month.
 
do you mean restarting my computer? I did that each time I tried to clear my cache, delete everything remotely involved and repaired my permissions and then I restarted.
 
I am also having trouble :( I am going to try on Chrome and if I can't get it I will send an email to CS.
 
For those of you on MAC's...why do you have to use an unzipping utility? MAC's unzip automatically immediately after you download. I'm wondering if that's not the issue for the MAC users.
 
I don't have this problem, but I've been helping Farrah. I can download from her profile to my machine.

Downloads that come through Safari automatically unzip, but downloads from other browsers do not automatically unzip.

Incidentally, when I attempted to help her yesterday, I logged out of my account in Firefox, AND cleared my cache, but I was unable to log in as anything other that myself - even after getting a message from your site saying I had been logged out and my cookies deleted, it still kept autofilling mollyc and my password in, and if I manually typed over it with Farrah's info, I got a log in error saying it was wrong.

I was able to log in as Farrah through Safari, which is a browser I do not use often.

It does seem like somewhere on TLP's end there is a cache that is not getting cleared out which might be the cause of this.
 
I'm having a problem w/ the free kit. And it's taking super long to unzip - like 8-9 minutes. Most of the time it only takes max 2 min. just deleted browsing history and emptied recycle bin - will let you know if still an issue. thanks!!
 
Some of the files are fine...but some don't fully DL and end up looking like this:

Mine aren't working either. I tried two different computers, both Chrome and Firefox. Each time I get a window that says the zipped file is empty and there is nothing to unzip.
