MOC day one lilypad all about George take 2.jpg
Day 1: This is my first time doing this challenge and I am very intimidated by the rules. I'm not sure how we document this but here goes:
LMS animal crackers solid 3
stierney spike stain as my coffee stain
apenneyton mpm stitches 4
lgrieveson meow stamp, phrase 1 and phrase 2
thora victorian tag2
FJ wild life paw print and flair camera
I tried my best to follow the rules but just like George Washington, I break things. these photos were taken while I attempted to take down our Christmas tree yesterday, there are 7 cats in the house and I was thrilled that none of them gave me a hassle. Iolaus, way too old to care at 20. George, Ernest Shackleton who survived the arctic explorations and now is an indoor only cat, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kidd, and our vacationing buddies from Brooklyn, Harold Houdini and Elliot Stabler. Pray for my sanity and ability to keep up the litter boxes.

day 3: The whole page was made with Paula Kesselring Bird and Squirrel and Forever Joy Chestnut Lane. They seemed fitting as this squirrel was taunting my dog through the screen door and my cat has her back, that squirrel sat there waving his bushy tail at them for minutes! What a sassy squirrel! I hoped I did the grid part correctly, I used a grid that I made with Forever Joy's Chestnut lane paper.
I re-worked the page per the rules.

Day 2, shallow depth of field. The entire page is made with Forever Joy's rise and Shine. I promise, not every page will be about my cat, George Washington. He's just available for photo shoots all day. My daughters moved out and my son wants nothing to do me taking photos of him anymore at 25.

Day 6: This page is all about my recent trip to New York and seeing Bruce Springsteen on Broadway with my middle daughter. The only thing that would have made this better was being with both of my daughters who seriously had to grow up listening to more Springsteen music than any child, maybe. Thankfully, they have a deep appreciation for his music. My middle daughter sings his songs at Karaoke night, I'm proud.
I used Little Butterfly Wings Hello Handsome and Sahlin Studios Sweet Story Telling.
I am not sure if I did the cut out correctly but I tried!
I consider myself truly blessed to have been to this show. Bruce poured his heart and soul out on that stage, I cried tears of joy, tears of sadness and Bruce is the only person who could one cry during Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. How can you miss someone you never met? Clarence and Danny, in heaven making music for the angels.

I remade the page per the rules so there are two pages to see, before and after.

Day 7, Bucket list:
What can I say, I have accomplished some of these things so far this year. Working on myself will be a lifetime thing, hopefully! I am a glass half full and that glass can refilled again type of person. I have started that book, I have new books to read on my Kindle, I saw Bruce on Broadway with my middle daughter, life is good no matter how stressful or crazy things get.

Forever Joy, to the Moon, Be, day dreamer
A Pennington, Sandy, Anchored.all the feels

I was thinking of an old time movie ransom note, since life is super stressful currently but this too shall pass.

Day 13, photos of the day. I woke up with cats and a migraine, the day didn't get much better but I took a nap and went to bed early. I'm still trying to make this migraine and palsy go away today. Going to back away from the computer now, see you later, alligator.
a re-do of my page, the entire page is Paula Kesselring's Poe.M, those skulls are so perfect for describing a migraine headache, especially one that lasts days and days. The nerve of that headache! I'm happy that I had to re-do this page, I like this one better.

Back when my son was in school and I had to attend IEP's I would say that my son was a puzzle wrapped in a conundrum. A puzzle worth the effort indeed. My puzzle pieces are in the rainbow colors, red, orange, pink, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Day 18: I'm just so proud of myself that I'm doing this, despite all of the stress in my life currently. I've made it to day 18!
The entire page is Forever Joy's Chill Out with the exception of the snowmen's arms and legs, those are from J Larson.
My type path in the shape of a square is the path that elements follow. I made my photos to look like snowmen.

Day 19: How to get a cat? The entire page is from Paula Kesselring's Winter Wonderland Collaboration. Sir Ernest Henry Shackleton was a British polar explorer who led three British expeditions to the Antarctic. He was one of the principal figures of the period known as the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration. Also, my daughter wanted to name the cat, Donner and that was a hard no. On a side note, he was partly feral and he had to learn what a litter box was for. He is a very lucky cat and he still lives with me despite my daughter saying he is her cat yet she moved out and has her own house now.

Day 20: The entire page is made with Forever Joy's Unwritten. It's one of my favorites. The story is that we got rid of our sectional, the town had a bulky pick up twice a year and it's one less trip to the dump. Trust me, if I could have donated this sectional I would have but the springs were biting us in the butt. I contacted the store where we bought it and he accused me of my kids jumping on the couch and ruining it, nope, didn't happen. Honest. So, when my husband and son tore that sucker apart for the big pick
MOC day 20.jpg
up, I was thrilled and terrified.
