Traveling with my DSLR

I'd go with the 24-105 as it is lighter than the 200, right? Then put the 50 mm in there b/c it is super light and small and you'll get some great shots with that and appreciate the lightness, so you could rotate between the heavier zoom and the lightweight prime.
 
BTW....forgot to say I'm totally jealous, it's a trip I'd love to take someday! Have fun and can't wait to see your awesome photos/layouts when you return.
 
can leave my combo personal bag/camera bag behind (trunk of car or hotel when we are staying a few days) and just take the small cross body bag with camera and wallet.

This is why I bought my current purse! It's big enough for my DSLR, water bottle (outside pocket), phone and wallet, but not too heavy. If we are hiking, I put both the purse strap and the DSLR strap on my body. It's technically a Day Bag, but it's the same size as other purses I have! I have the chocolate one below.
