So.
All of the ladies from my work went out to eat tonight for a surprise party for one of them who's moving. The lady who is moving does paper scrapbooking and since I worked with her often (and she was Bella's teacher) we've had several conversations about our two types of scrapbooking. Well someone brings up scrapbooking and my pages I post to Facebook get mentioned. One of the other ladies said "Wait, you like made made those?" I'm all Umm.... yes? So she's all "OMG, you are so talented! How do you make those?" Me - Photoshop. Wait, how did you think I did them?

...."I thought you just had like this really neat app."

Oh my word! I have a couple of work friends who asked me the same thing!! I laughed and laughed! But it is a pretty good compliment on your work!! :)

I have heard the same thing! Its like they think all my pages are pretty much the equivalent of QPs and I just popped my photos in there quick. It seems nobody understands until they actually see you open PS in front of them and work on a page. Crazy!

Yup, I have this a lot. I have a lot of friends that know I'm all about the digital scrapbooking, but they all think that means I go to shutterfly and make a book with their pre-done pages.

Pretty funny Trish! :)

yeah, I am loving the app comment--if only it were that simple!! :) of course, it also wouldn't be quite as fulfilling!

LOL!!!! I'm sure someone is coming up with an app like that to make what we do look easy, but it will have cheesy fonts like comic sans all over it! ;)

Yes, this!! Until they understand that you start with a total blank slate, this whole concept just doesn't sink in, right?!

That's too funny Trish! That would be quite the app if it would get me caught up on my scrapping!!
