That’s nice your husband cleans when you host! My husband usually does too, depending on his work load.

It’s definitely harder to gather when you’re all spread out. I have a brother who lives across the country so we rarely see him in person any more.

What is the largest gathering you have hosted? Our families are both small, so I think the most I've ever hosted was about 12 people?

Cleaning the house is definitely good and bad! Haha if it would just stay clean longer then the good would outweigh the bad!
 
I would prefer not to host because it is really awkward trying to indirectly ask people to leave when you thought they should have left already. I know you all have had that one person just stay and you just want to clean up and be done, lol. Maybe it’s just me.
 
Well I couldn't host if I wanted. I was sitting at my table yesterday and it just crashed in 2!!!

Nope definitely not just you haha my mom’s dad would always say something funny when he wanted us to leave so now we quote him haha
