Tip of the Day

Bwhahahaha! Thanks for the giggle! I totally would have thought the marshmallows and the butter would make it okay. Maybe add a chocolate drizzle?

I agree...did the same thing myself a few years ago. My hubs loves rice krispie squares and I always make them at Xmas for him. I had some leftover holiday edition RK's (the ones with the red and green pieces) and months later I made some squares and yuck....stale and yucky. Even he didn't want to eat them. Now I just buy the small box to make the squares at Xmas b/c I know no one eats the cereal any other time.

i'm not a fan of rice krispy anything but good to know!

my bonus tip is fried noodles (sold in packets in the asian section) are also not good stale, even when mixed into honey soy chicken (or teriyaki - can't remember what leftovers it was but i didn't have enough rice to soak up the sauce - yep, not good

Lol! Sorry but that made me laugh. My boys sounds like your boys though... I doubt they'd even care... they love those things!

I thought about that, but it would be wasted chocolate if it didn't work.
But my kids are eating them. Slowly. If they were "fresh tasting" they'd all be gone by now!
