I love Daylight Savings time and wish it was the standard time and never changed. Even though I lost an hours worth of sleep (the whole spring ahead thing), I like that it stays light later in the evenings. It's nice to have more light when I'm driving the kids around to all their extracurricular activities.

I will admit that I didn't even realize it was Daylight Savings Time until I was at church yesterday and someone mentioned it. I have been sick this past week with a nasty bug and my hubby had changed all the clocks ahead after I had gone to bed, so I didn't realize the time had even changed... hehe!

How about you? Do you like Daylight Savings? Do you like the time changing or wish it would just stay the same year round?

I definitely like the light lasting longer in the evening. Switching the time doesn't bother me so I have no opinion on keeping it DST or shifting it back to standard time.

Yesterday, was okay, this morning. The theft of that hour left me slow and just a bit off! I worked out, but slowly. Gonna have to shake this off! ugh. I just want the time to not change...take my hour, keep it, or give it back, and stop taking it every year.
yeah, that sounds as whiny as I could.bhahha

I agree, the lost hour hit me harder today than yesterday... and go ahead and whine, I can take it. I take it from my kids all the time... bwahahahaha!

It sneaked up on me too. I love it though. I don't like it when it gets dark so early. Florida is actually considering staying on Day Light Savings Time all year. I just heard this and sure hope it happens.

My kids were a little more sluggish this morning but we made it out the door on time.
I love daylight savings time and also wish it was this way permanently. I hate leaving the office when it's dark.

I like it about a week after it happens! :giggle It was SO nice yesterday that we played outside ALL day, even got some yard work done. BUT- we were all pretty tired & went to bed early, but ALL slept in this am. Instead of kids catching the bus, I had to drive them, since my little guy woke up 15 mins AFTER the bus came. That's the worst part of DST- adjusting sleep patterns! lol!

we don't switch until later in the month. It makes my children's medical condition more dangerous for a week or so, and especially the first 2 days as it affects their equipment settings. So I wish we'd not keep changing about really.

oh yes, I wouldn't want it messing up medical equipment... hope everything goes well for your kids while they settle back in to the time change.

I AM DYING!!!
I only got 3 hours of sleep & I start an hour early on Mondays. I am so wimpy today & I just want to back to bed until fall back!

I love, love, love it!!! It has really never bothered me much, other than I tend to stay up a little late for a day or two, but we had a snow day today and I took a nap :) I always have more energy when it stays light longer in the evening and my whole mood improves tremendously!! It's back to being dark when I leave for work, but that doesn't bother me at all. I would so much rather it be dark then than in the evening as soon as I get home.

This is me. :)

I never feel like it effects me, but man... I was dragging yesterday and I am dragging today. I need some toothpicks for my eyelids.

I hate, hate, hate the changes twice a year. It wouldn't take much to convince me to move to one of the states that doesn't recognize it. It's really hard for me with the dogs to get them switched over.

So, Sunday morning Roxy woke me up at her usual 4:48 am, and I thought, "awesome. It's 5:48 am for me. She let me sleep!" It wasn't until about 7:00 that I realized she woke me up at what felt like 3:48 am. My butt's been dragging ever since.

I'm in the 'don't care what it is" just leave it one way all year round. When I was in my last 20years of working, I only worked 1+mile away from my house so I really didn't care about the dark. Until the dead of winter, I was always coming and going in daylight. Winter was only bad because it was dusk when I was driving and so many people didn't have their headlights on. I hope to go to bed by 9ish tonight because I didn't wake up till 07:30 this am. I don't like that as it seems like I've lost half a day by the time I really get going.

I LOVE when daylight lasts until after dinner! :love I love longer days. Yay for the end of winter. :yahoo Though, after a winter of barely any snow, we got a little today. LOL

I would vote YES on ending the time change thing.

Not a big deal one way or the other for me. The pets were confused and didn't wake me until 8am (new time) yesterday because they thought it was 7am. However, we went to bed as usual and so this morning -- bam, 7am and they are asking for their food and potty and walk. And it was even raining which usually causes them to sleep in. Oh well.

I love DST. There is a reason I get depressed in the month of December... all because of the shorter days of daylight. I need daylight.

Although now that I am retired it doesn't matter as much since I don't get up at o'dark thirty. It was not quite light when I got up today but within 30 minutes it was. That's the way it should be all the time in my world. Also, I open a door from the garage to the fenced in patio for the dog to get in and out and run around. I close that door at dark. It was so nice not having to close it before 6:30 last night.
