I realize it's just one hour, but why does daylight savings mess up everyone in my family? Crankiness abounds. We're hungry and tired at the wrong time. Plus, it's dark at 5 now. Boo. Fall back seems like a good plan in theory, but it's not working out for me. OK, rant over...carry on.

OMG YES!!! i was just facebooking about that. My son like totally got cranky and went ape today. He woke up at 5 am but to his body it was 6am and im like pls just get over this LOL

It's only wonderful if you don't have kids! I was so excited for my extra hour of sleep this weekend... and then I remembered I have three small children :p Makes me miss living in Arizona b/c they don't do it!

I'm in AZ, so I get to miss out on the woes of the time change. But it's super annoying when I try to remember how many hours the time difference is from another time zone because it changes depending on the time of year!

It helps us since we have to get up so early here. Makes us feel like we slept an hour later. And since it is dark earlier, I can convince Kenzie it is time for bed earlier. She did wake up hungry yesterday though. lol

and my dog put himself to bed early yesterday. lol

I'm up at 5am this morning....grrrrr. At least I can take a nap later if I want. My dog is so good. He's always waited for me to take him out and he's perfectly content to stay in a warm bed until I'm ready. And my oldest son put himself to bed an hour earlier last night!

HAHA...I put MYSELF to bed early yesterday :) I just could not stay awake last night and I could not get up on time today. I think it's the cold weather too.

Oh it's horrible :( We are all in misery here. I can handle the spring ahead, no problem..the fall back..blah :td

Oh, I love this time change. I love when it gets darker earlier. It helps my kids get up better in the morning because it's lighter outside.

My boys are older, 10 and 13 so the time change doesn't really affect them now.. it is in the spring, my youngest wants to find reasons to stay up cause it is still 'daylight' outside.....

Hugs to those having trouble adjusting with little ones, I remember those days and dreaded them too!

I takes me for-evah to get readjusted. I'm so sleepy around 9:30pm because it feels like its been dark for awhile. But mornings are easier to wake up at 5:00am!

We are on the third day of my 9 mo old getting up at 5:00. She is an early riser and will normally get up between 6 and 6:30. I'm about ready to pull my hair out! I'm not an early riser so loosing ANOTHER hour of my precious sleep is killing me. The funny thing is even though she is getting up early she has stayed on the same schedule, and is actually happier. Go figure!

Yeah, DD was up at 2:30 (3:30) and 5:30 (6:30) am last night. I never get that extra hour of sleep they talk abt. Boo hiss. :td

This was a good idea when we had fields to plow but now... ? Dumb. I used to be able to send my son out to a friends while I made dinner and tell him to be home at 6 and know it would just be dusk. Now... doesn't work. Stinks!!

It is really messing our meal times up! The kids are 'starving' at all the wrong times.

Grrrr!! I HAAAATE it!! It's making me want to pull my hair out! B now wakes up at 5:00 a.m. instead of 6:00 and Noah is up at 6:00 instead of 7:00. Then they want to stay up later too and their naptimes are off! I've been getting up at 4:30 just so I can get dressed and lunch packed for B before they wake up. I'm exhausted!!
