Tides like these...

The salty breeze still lingers in my mind. Just a few weeks ago, I was wandering the rugged shores of Scandinavia. Barefoot, wind in my hair, and my daughter by my side. We have spend some time beachcombing for little treasures: shells, sea glass, twisted bits of driftwood. My son? He had no time for collecting -he was all about doing cannonballs and throwing rocks into the water

Here are some photos of our nature finds, although my husband had the best find: A gorgeous starfish.




It would seem this trip was the inspiration for my new collection Tides Like These, that is clearly about the ocean shore. But I can tell you it wasn't, since I've already started creating this around April/May.
