at B's first soccer game! :hissy LMBO! Oh goodness...will I ever be glad for the tantrums to pass. He was mad because he didn't score the first goal. He kept screaming, "I want the baaaalllll!!!!". I knew this might be a problem, but thought that after 3 weeks of practice he'd at least start to grasp the team concept...guess not.

Sorry about the giant photo. I'd fix it, but my internet is screwy right now and I'm too frustrated to fight it right now. :/

this is too funny! it's hard to expect kids this age to grasp team concept. aah, the challenges of parenting! love the pic!

Oh my goodness, Jordan this is sooooo funny! I love that you caught him actually foaming at the mouth!

My ds was 4 in soccer and he would get checked by the opposing team and then start crying, lie face down on the grass and refuse to budge. If it wasn't so funny (from our perspective) it might have been mortifying!:rofl

That is funny, Heather! And it makes me happy to know, I'm not the only one. lol.

I love that face!!! We did t-ball last year & Gavin was 4 yrs old. Oh my. There were so many moments that all the parents were just cracking up about that it made me wonder why we even had them out there trying to play. lol.

Oh Jordan...that is just the cutest sweetest and saddest photo ever!!! OMGosh...what a doll.

I have to admit, none of my boys ever did this...but I did see a lot on the field in our years of sports that had a hard time like this.

Awww that's so cute....yea Seth had his first game today too...he doesn't get the whole it's a game thing and they are playing on teams...he just runs after everyone laughing because he thinks they are running from him or something...it's pretty funny :)

It's such a cute and sad picture all at the same time!

My daughter starts soccer next week. I'm glad it's not teams yet (she's only 3) because I can't even imagine how that would go over. She'd likely be the goalie picking grass and spinning in circles... I love watching kids play sports :giggle

aaawweeee! He's going to LOVE that photo when he's older! lol!

Last year my oldest used to flap his arms like a dragon while he ran after the ball...
This year he actually ran hard and played! It was awesome!

This year my youngest ran for the ball but then ran in the opposing direction when he got close to it! lol!

It does get better! ;)

Oh goodness... now that photo says way more than a 1000 words. Poor little guy! It is such a hard concept to grasp for kids! I hope he did have some fun too! :)

Oh my goodness, the photo is a keeper. You gotta show that to him when he gets older. ;) Love all the little story that everyone also shared. I remember those days. Fun times with little ones!

Awwww, poor guy!

My hubby coaches kindergarten soccer and at that age it gets a lot easier I think. It is a lot of these little guys to take at first. I hope it gets better for him soon!

Ohhhh... now he was clearly not happy! Yikes! It'll be something you can tell him all about, like when he's 12 years old and scoring points like crazy! :-) I remember when my daughter was 4 and playing soccer, she used to spend more time chasing her shadow then actually paying attention to the game!!! I tell her about it all the time; It's always worth a good laugh for her and I! :-)

Just wanna give him a big ol' hug and tell 'em everything will be alright. He's too cute!

That's a photo that deserves huge canvas treatment!!
Poor baby :(

Awww, poor buddy! It's so frustrating at that age!
