yep, Bianca sneaked up on us again and was sleeping in bed with us. So when did your kid stopped sneaking in your bed? btw. Bianca didn't use to do this, this started when she was like 4 years old only because her asthma got worse at that time and we brought her a few times to our bed. I know totally OUR fault.:hissy

we've had a kid in our bed for almost 8 years now LOL... Asher's the oldest kid in bed now though... the others left when the baby came home or mama got too big LOL

my girlfriend said that her baby was in their bed until 8 years old when her hubby put his foot down and said that he needed to stay in his own bed, lol...

and I know I'm not giving you the answer you want to hear, since I'm all for bed sharing ;) lol

I had Wyatt (the 7 year old) run in at 12:30 last night. I think he had a bad dream. The oldest will come in once in a great while too when he has a bad dream too and he's 9. But, it doesn't happen very often.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say that we had one of ours until he was about 11 or so. My youngest did GREAT & eventually ended up with us. There were nights where there were four of us plus the dog! EEEKS! But that was ages ago. I'm still dealing with one with night terrors & he's 14.

oh shannon, I am so sorry about him having night terrors, I used to get them.

I don't sleep much, I have clinophobia and I love having B at bed at night with me.

My 12 yo son still crawls into bed with one of us (and there's only one parent in the bed, could be me, could be hubby) at whatever time. Our daughter only comes in when she's super scared or feels sick. She's 17 now.

*sigh* Right now we have a ten pound mini-pin who digs under the blankets and loves to snuggle.

I was an evil momive only ever let my kids in our bed if there ill so mine dont do it and even then I move them back to there own bed once asleep

Every now and again they will come into our bed and they are nearly 5 and 3! I love having cuddles but they do get put back in their bed when they are asleep unless they are ill!

Karen, we never let Bianca sleep in our bed when she was a baby. We moved her to her own room when she was 6 months old. When we started having problems with her asthma we would try to bring her to our bed with no luck, because she would start crying and asking to be put on her bed. It wasn't until she was like 4 that she was able to sleep in my bed when she was sick.

ok I had to so a double take on the title there for a moment ..... *blush*

Ummmmm I hate to tell you Dalis but I only managed to get Tasha out of my bed on a permanent basis by the time she was 10!! Until then she would creep in nearly every other night and jam herself in between her Dad and I, which isn't so bad until she started to thrash around, kick the blankets off and every now and then punched me in the nose. I wonder if that has anything to do with why I didn't have any other kids after her lol

wel we told Abby (7 she better not get in bed with us anymore about 2 weeks ago)....her solution..make a pallet with blankets and pillows and sleep at the foot of the bed LOL! Her brother Peyton 6 has high functioning Autism (Asperger's) and sometimes he just doesn't sleep well, so he tends to end up in bed with us most nights.....but that has really only been over the summer, other than that they all really enjoy their "own" rooms....all 4 of them.....we also have a CA King bed and sometimes on Sat/Sun mornings there can be 5 of us in there (Ben included 12) and 2 dogs...85 lb black lab and 10 lb daschund LOL!!!! but I am like Heather, I don't really mind the bed sharing UNTIL it affects MY SLEEP and I have to get up for work the next day.....so now I take Ambien so it don't really matter who is in bed :p

My 7 year old is still in bed with us most nights. Thank goodness for king-size beds!

wow, that is a bed full to capacity!

BTW. Hubby just told Bianca that she cannot sleep in our bed tonight. She just started crying so badly she almost puked. It is not a cry for attention but out of hurt feelings. I told her she could go to our bed but that we will transfer her into her bed when we are ready to go to ours. She was fine with that, poor thing was crying her eyes out.

We co-sleep just as much as we sleep in seperate beds, we always have and it doesn't bother us. Birk will stay asleep in his bed if he sleeps through the night, but if he wakes up to go to the bathroom or by a bad dream he usually asks to come into my bed. Why he even ask I have no idea :lol
