These Boots Are Made For Walkin'...

and that's just what they'll do...

One of my favorite things about fall is the fashion. There's nothing in my closet that I love more than my cozy cardi's and all of those boots!

I picked up these this year:

And I can tell that I'll be living in these until Spring! What about you? What's your favorite pair of shoes in your closet?

Those are cuuuuuute!!! I'm not a shoe type of person to be honest, I don't own a zillion pairs, I like to wear flip flops until the snow hits the ground (yep I'm crazy like that lol)
 
my Uggs ( i am obsessed with them, i own pretty much every style and color out there LOL) and my chucks ( i have 60 plus pairs. I have been buying them for ages. i love color. if i wear jeans and a black hoodies or sweater at least my feet will have color lol)
it gets icy and snowy here so i dont wear to many heeled boots or ill slip on my butt ( but thats winter though) LOL but those are my 2 fav things to put on my feets :D

cuz i'm so cool like that, i had to look up ugg's and chuck's online :rofl

um, i like cute cozy flats. something with a bit of character, like fabric roses or a cute buckle or something. right now i don't know what my fave pair is. i would love to go shoe shopping actually, but that's sort of counter productive to my dave ramsey driven efforts.
 
id love to find cute cozy flats Rebecca but im so picky i havent found any that i think dont look old lady on me:| they look awesome on everyone else but me
 
I'm the same as you Jordan...I love my sweaters...can't wait to start wearing them, and I did purchase some boots this year and can't wait to wear them too. These I bought...mainly because I have large calves and have the hardest time fitting into a pair of boots, and these are basic black which I can wear for work!

these have stretch suede on the back side and being that they're Cole Haan's, they're very comfy!!

This is the ones I'm most excited about getting though. I have a few pairs on order in different colors and sizes so I can choose the correct one. I plan to wear this with leggings, skirts, skinny jeans, you name it! I hope I can find a size to fit me well!! They are extremely pricey but if they fit well, they're going to be worth it!

I just got these too, and they are going to be too high for me to wear to work, but for just going out they should be fine! They fit like a glove and look so amazing on!!

and these are also from my work. I ordered them in a wide width, and they are a little big and slip when I wear tights, so I might have to put a pair of thin socks on too. I hope to wear them to work Friday night with a cute new dress I bought! We have a special event that night!

I just picked up these from Forever 21...totally budget friendly, Rebecca. I'm not really a flat person for the same old lady reason. But these are really cute on, Carls! I wore them with a b&w striped sweater (more black than white) and with just a plain tee. They were so cute and comfy!

I have a hard time with flats. There never seems to be enough arch support, and even though I have a wide foot, my heels are AA's, so everything (even with the elastic) slips.

I do wear a lot of TOMS lately though. If I'm going to be standing for long periods, they can hurt my arches though, but kicking around all day in them they're very comfy. I wore a pair all day today!

They're really expensive, and Husband says they look like something the Russian Army would've worn in WWII. LOL! I told him that's what I loved about them!! lol. They have character.

And now I think I need those Cole Haan boots for work, Debra! Thanks.

Oh, and I really want some Uggs, but it's so darn hot here, even in winter. :( I should've gotten some while we were in Germany, but my fat, swollen pregnant cankles wouldn't fit in them! LOL!

someone else told me about toms but i dont really like them much. they just arent my style. but they do however look really comfy.
JO those flats are just what i would totally buy for myself LOL they are me. Ill have to check that store Jo to see if they have then or something like them:D
Debra i love the 2nd pair of shoes you posted. the low cut boots.
 
i guess one could classify me as a ugg and converse addict lol but my jeans collection totally doubles the amount of shoes i have LOL and now i have become quite the Vera bag addict. it seems like every week im buying more bags lol. ill never be able to use them all. so maybe ill give them as gifts to family this year

after my fiasco with my $400 boots, i highly doubt hubby will be happy for me to buy boots online again LOL i still have these boots brand new in the box and cant return and they dont fit LOL

Those are CUTE Jo!! I could totally see you in them too!

Carly...the second pair I posted are Donald Pliner Dasha boots. Those are the wine color...just a really dark brown. They are handmade in Italy and are amazing. I've never been so excited to get a pair of shoes. I called my saleperson tonight at Nordy's to find out where they are. Something is going on with them and UPS isn't getting them out to me. He's going to look into it tomorrow. It's 100 degrees here during the day, but I still want to wear them!!

I went a little crazy on Vera bags too this year. Mostly I bought travel type pieces though, and things for toiletries, etc.... I only bought a few handbags. I really like the little Francie cross body bag. They're only $29 and are just the right size to take the things I really need. I haven't seen the new colors yet. I should go tomorrow and take a peek!
 
I bought them from Zappos, and the width was to small but i LOVE them. but at that time we were moving and i totally forgot to return them after a year LOL so im stuck with them
 
these are the boots. They are Elizabeth and James. i fell in love with the heel and the folded thingy and how killer they would look with jeans
they are a 9 and a half but not wide enough

Oh my. I should not have opened this thread. boots {yelling, it's fall} just make it feel like fall. Last year (due to the 100 degree weather Debra is referring to) I didn't even open the box of my boots that I wore in Texas. Before our move to OC last month I gave almost all of them to Goodwill. They were outdated and I figured it would give me an excuse to buy new ones this year. Now that I wear suits so much during the week for work

Debra---I love those Cole haan boots. I think I will go look on Zappos for some boots now. :giggle
