As many of you could see by my absence yesterday, we had such an amazing day!!!!!!!!!
In Portuguese we say: "Deus e Pae" , God is Father.... and he was so much for me yesterday- as always but yesterday was like he answered my prayers almost to the t....
I woke up to Sarita's home made breakfast worth of a 5 stars hotel, she even made a banner and stuck it to the wall, we had a lovely time, in the afternoon we went to get a crepe in a stall near us that is owned by French people and is usually with long queues at night so we had not been able to eat there for a while, we got marvelous crepes,
We had bought tickets for a musical two months ago (is solf out solidly need to book at least 6 weeks in advance)
so got ready... and thsi is where the almost comes in
we had a slight glitch...
I am registered disabled, which gives us some good sides of being ill, the tickets to the theatre are less than half price, and I have a disabled taxi card that takes us places for a maximum of £5...
thing is sometimes they are late, well, yesterday they didn't even get us a cab...I called them 5 minutes before the cab we nbooked was due and they still didnt have a car, so I had a bit of a fit as is difficult to get a cab on the spot, but we call a local service and got to the West End in time...
we had an amazing laugh, then ate at TGI Friday (an American diner), had the cutest (My daughter was melting LOL) Brazilian waiter, then got a disabled taxi card almsot the minute we called them...and got home to find some amazing messages from some of you and lots of friends and family on Facebook which added to my beautiful day
