The sickies just won't end...
On Friday (I don't know if anyone remembers me saying that Caleb was sick...) I bring Caleb to the Dr.'s, turns out he has a bilateral ear infection with a throat infection to boot.... so he's on antibiotics and is doing great. That same day as we were coming in the house exhausted from our wait at Wal Mart, Mathieu loses his balance and falls down the stairs (only 2 small ones) and unable to stop himself, hits his head right on the corner of our snowmobile trailer. Thank goodness he was wearing a toque. He had a little bruise but because he was so upset and scared, he started vomitting everywhere... ugh... not to mention that that morning he had already vomitted his breakfast from coughing so hard.. poor boy. Then it's my birthday and we all feel sick and somewhat miserable. Thankfully a few glasses of yummy red wine helped... now I'm sitting at home and had to call in sick to work because now Mathieu is super sick. I couldn't very well send him to daycare with his nose running like a faucet and coughing....
okay, had to get that out. The year has not been going to well for us healthwise. Here's hoping that February brings some healthy vibes our way. Thanks for listening to my vent...
