The Little Things |Pad Patter 10.10.17

So many little things that I enjoy. I had to laugh when some of you said that you love your SUV. Six years ago, I bought my dream car -- "my kids are grown and gone and I don't have grandkids" car. I drive a Mini Cooper! I absolutely love it! I am zippy in it! His name is Parker and I talk to him while I'm driving.

Other little things I love that have been mentioned are perfect avocados and coffee in the morning. Although I love pumpkin stuff, I'm looking forward to peppermint season!

Yep, it's been there all along. Although, sometimes I forgot to log off my ipad, so it might say I'm online, but I'm not. Kinda reminds me of the saying, "The lights are on, but nobody's home." hehe

My little thing is when a food product, like cool whip, has a plastic shrink wrap to seal it up and they actually add the perforation so that it's easy to take the shrink wrap off. If it doesn't have the perforation and I have to get out a knife... I'm instantly annoyed. :giggle

:compcoffee i have never thought about it but i now have total appreciation for those perforated plastic bits and the geniuses that make them! In this vein, I'm adding ring pulls on the top of diced tomatoes cans as a little thing!

I planted some succulents today (and they were free b/cos from a relative's garden!) - if they live, (i'm not exactly a green thumb) that'll be a little thing that i'll enjoy seeing everyday

thanks for that! i have wondered if i walk away from the laptop and it goes to screen saver whether it is still green and shows me as 'on' but i can't actually check that!
 
Today the little thing that makes me happy- I have NO plans- literally planning on scrapping, laundry & maybe a little house chores. That is IT! ;)

On a side note- this made me think about my daughter- I got her a tape dispenser (in her favorite color) the other day & just gave it to her. She was ridiculously happy about her tape dispenser. The little things. :D
 
Yep I don't remember how I coped before the green arrow (and is it just me or did they get rid of the 'back to the top' arrow in Pinterest? :cry)
 
Today's little thing is music. Music helps calm me, helps lighten my mood. Today was one of those days!
