The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

It comes out Wednesday here, though I'm not sure my husband is willing to go with me. He doesn't like intense stuff in the theaters.

I listened to The Hunger Games on audio a couple of years ago, but I couldn't devete the time to reading the rest of the series, so I just read the summary on Wikipedia, lol. We watched the movie a couple of weeks ago on tv, so now I can't wait to watch Catching Fire!
 
Comes out in 3 days here (21st) I will probably have to go see it myself, or convince mum to go see the first one, then come with me lol.
 
oh i'm so excited to see it too! i am traveling on saturday - so either i see it on friday during the day (DH doesn't want to see it so we'll do something else fri night) or wait until i get back from thanksgiving … i don't want to wait, but i may have to just bc this week is going to be BUSY …
 
we bought our tickets online last night! We're going Saturday after Sebastian gets out of practice. Can't wait!!
 
My oldest wants to see it. I think that I am going to take him to go see it next week. They are out of school for Thanksgiving so, that will be a good time. :)

so, i'm getting a bit nervous after hearing bits here & there - hoping it's not too intense for the kids... i guess we'll find out because i've already bought the tickets.
 
I thought it was awesome as we'll. I worried that it wouldn't live up to the hype, but it was fabulous.
 
Dang, I need to get my butt to the movies. Saw the first & liked it but it seems like the new one is so much better!!
 
I finally got to see it Tuesday and loovveedd it. I kind of want to go again but my attention span is not going to let me do that. lol! Even though it was good, I kept thinking "man this is long!" My 5 year old wanted to see it with me(she saw the first on DVD with me) but I would much rather wait until it comes on DVD. I have never had any issues with letting my daughter see this movie... the Twilight movies or other similar rated movies because that is how I was raised. My mama always told it to us straight and did not hide things.
 
I thought it was a great adaptation! the hubby and I went yesterday and we both enjoyed it!
 
i totally agree - i thought they did a great job translating it from book to screen. i can't wait to see it again!!
 
I thought it was really good as well...dh hasn't read the books though and was pretty annoyed about the cliffhanger ending lol :)
