Hi everyone,
…It happens. (Feel free to fill in the blanks!)
While I was prepping the June Monthly Challenge forum, our normal Monthly Challenge forum decided it was time for its own dramatic exit. The Monthly Challenges section is officially MIA, and despite our best behind-the-scenes efforts—including a full search party equipped with virtual flashlights—even Bart (who can slip into places we can’t!) couldn’t track it down.
Due to the missing Monthly Challenge threads, we’ve had to officially conclude the May challenges a bit early. But if there’s one thing this community knows how to do, it’s roll with the unexpected and turn it into something fun!
We’re kicking off a special “It Happens… Slow Scrap Challenge” to carry us through the rest of May—something low-key, creative, and of course, prize-worthy. You can find more details on how we’re handling the May challenge wrap-up andjump right into the new slow challenge here:

On a more serious note, this little plot twist is exactly why I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on a site redesign and upgrade. Our current system has served us well for years, but let’s just say it’s more brick phone than smartphone—and it’s time for a big refresh. A lot of progress has already been made, and I’ll be sharing more updates in the coming weeks as we move toward exciting changes ahead.
