It was overdue at the library. LOL. I had to finish it or I knew I wouldn't get it back anytime soon.
 
Kimberlee, that is insane. It took me the entire length of my library rental to get through it. WOW!
 
Farrah - did you finish? Are you still glad you are reading it and sticking with it ... (or glad you did finish if you are done)? Just curious how you are making out with the book now?
 
It's been a busier weekend than I expected, and I'm **almost*** finished! Should finish it tonight. My digital library loan expired on Friday on my iPad, so if I take it online, it will disappear. LOL...so I MUST finish it today!!!!

I think everyone is talking about checking out e-books from their local library (at least that's what I'm talking about :)
 
when I check out e-books from the library, I have the option to DL them in kindle format...but it's still a local library check out and expires in 21 days. I'd love to get the Kindle unlimited, but not sure I have time to read enough to justify it over the library check out.
 
yup ... local library ... e-books or good old fashioned paper books.

i use my local library system as often as i can. we have more than 25 local libraries in our system and they move and transport books from all over and you can request online where you want to pick up the book. i love it!
 
I should have a look at my local library, see if they have e-books....

I used to read ONLY from my local library and they always have the latest, but with my mobility more and more reduced, my health deteriorating, I was paying lots of mine in fees for lateness.... so I am just reading free or cheap books on Kindle...
I should go have a look at the e books option,I'm quiet sure they must have them in my local by now!!!!

I agree with you Farrah, about the Kindle unlimited.... I don't think I can read that much to compensate....
I'm not a fast reader in English, unless the book grabs me HUGELY...then I maybe able to read faster... but as I just paid of my credit cards (staggering £1800 and something pounds!!!!!!) so that makes it even more definite LOL
