The Fault in our Stars?

I think it depends on life experience too. I thought it was a good book, but as someone who has personally faced cancer and has a sister facing it, I sobbed through the last half of it. literally, ugly cry.

Yep, same. Although I loved the book, I did ugly cry reading it, and I very rarely cry. My sister's husband died last year from cancer and that really colored my view of the book.

I shuddered in tears and also pumped my fist in such hard agreement to so many statements in the book...it is an emotional rollercoaster...and I am glad I read it!

I read it right when it came out.
I need to read it again, but I cried through it.
Maybe not ugly-cried, but cried.

Okay. Maybe I did ugly cry. I don't remember. Time to read again... if I ever feel like reading again.

yes emotional rollercoast, yes john green rocks, but well worth the read IMHO and can't wait for the movie

My DD says it's the best book she's ever read... and she reads voraciously. She's pestering me daily to read it. She even offered to read it to me! She did cry, but she loved love loved it and can't wait for the movie to come in June.

Well I've just finished it and it's not a book in really can I sayi enjoyed but something made me continue to read it
