It's one of those weeks I think...good time to focus on all the good things. :beat

1. Best Food in Your Tummy? - Chocolate Chip Cookies and Grapes!

2. Best Moment? - Applying for College

3. Best Thing You Heard? - My Youngest - "Thank You Mommy"

4. Best Thing You Saw? - My Youngest again, she just loves helping me clean :)
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? - All of it. My aunt is an amazing person, and called me up to tell me there was a sale on meat at some store and that she was going to grab me something.. Came by with 325553251 lbs of meat and other foods. So everything in my tummy is a blessing right now.

2. Best Moment? Being handed my finalized divorce papers ! 4.5 years of waiting and it's finally over!!

3. Best Thing You Heard? baby kitteh meows. they're so tiny and fragile and need you and i love them. they make me happy :p

4. Best Thing You Saw? I didn't actually see this, but i'm pretending I did :p Connor totally stepped up to protect his little friends... the end results were bad- he got punched in the face-- BUT he was brave, and RIGHT, and amazing to tell a boy to stop trying to hurt his friends. The kid is so selfless and empathetic and amazing..... He will be the first one right there to help someone who is hurting. I love him and am so proud of him for being such a wonderful human being. Plus, the kid had a weak punch and connor was totally fine ^__^
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Watermelon :)

2. Best Moment? having little talks with my 16 year old. I felt very out of it with him this summer until he got home from Mongolia

3. Best Thing You Heard? That my husband's truck will be able to be fixed soon :)

4. Best Thing You Saw? my 16 year old playing with the other kids and not getting irritated!
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? the chocolate birthday cake my mom made for Monkey on Sunday

2. Best Moment? tie between the couple of unsolicited 'I wuv you's I have gotten from Monkey + my boss telling us we could go home at 12:30 today

3. Best Thing You Heard? see above

4. Best Thing You Saw? the creation of a Facebook fan page for one of our coworkers who is always saying the funniest most ridiculous things & another coworker and I update it every day whenever something funny is said :giggle
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy?
THIS recipe makes the most yummy chicken - probably because of all the butter. i server it over egg noodles... or straight out onto my taste-test spoon.

2. Best Moment?
when DH said, why don't you go for an early run... so i did and came home to a clean kitchen and a chilled glass of wine waiting for me.

3. Best Thing You Heard?
hearing "twinkle twinkle little star" being played by DD who has only had ONE guitar lesson to date... played perfectly.

4. Best Thing You Saw?
dur - the olympics?!
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Anything and Everything Salad at a local steakhouse. YUM.

2. Best Moment? It rained! Stormed actually. At night. I LOOOOVE to sleep through thunderstorms. *happy sigh*

3. Best Thing You Heard? My kids's voices, after they were gone for a few days with grandparents. I missed them!

4. Best Thing You Saw? Family members I don't get to see nearly often enough!
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? ghirardelli chocolate chip cookies

2. Best Moment? When the rain stopped yesterday and the sun came out

3. Best Thing You Heard? "school will be back in session on Friday" (after being out for 3 days because of heavy flooding)

4. Best Thing You Saw? ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT SEASON 4 HAS STARTED FILMING!!!

This is a whole lot of happy in one week! : )
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? The homemade kettle chips that I had with my [equally yummy] buffalo chicken sandwich today. They were unlike anything I'd ever had before.

2. Best Moment? Dropping Madison off for her first day of preschool.

3. Best Thing You Heard? "mommy, I love my new school. My teacher is nice!" (I was not a huge fan of her old school and waited 6 long months for a spot to open at this new place.)

4. Best Thing You Saw? Well right now I'm watching my dog "bury" a bone...on the floor...with a tutu. And that's pretty darn funny! But really, watching my girls hug & kiss each other every morning before they go to their respective classrooms, and then again in the afternoon at pick up warms my heart daily.
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Sushi!!

2. Best Moment? My girls running and hugging my mom when she got off the plane today. The sheer joy on their faces - perfect moment.

3. Best Thing You Heard? This is actually a funny one, but it made laugh soooo hard. My 5 year old went to play at a friend's house who has a very rough and tumble 2 year old brother. When she came home, she said, "Joe hit me on the bottom - REALLY hard. I cried and it wasn't even my FAKE CRY. It was a real cry, Mom!" For some reason, her fessing up to the existence of the fake cry was hysterical to me. (She was fine by the way, or it wouldn't have been funny.)

4. Best Thing You Saw? My BFF. We had a whole morning together this week, which doesn't happen nearly as often as we wish it would.
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Sushi

2. Best Moment? Hubby surprising me with concert tickets for this weekend...he is awful at surprises because he usually tells me.

3. Best Thing You Heard? My son singing me his handwritten birthday card (and then when I asked if he would sing it on video, saying he would if I didn't post it on Facebook LOL)

4. Best Thing You Saw? My son holding open a door for a large group of women at a restaurant. They all just thought he was so sweet....and so did I.
 
Best food in your tummy? Guava mocha ice cream from a little shop in my old neighborhood in HAWAII that they sell at Whole Foods in BOSTON? Whodathunk?
Best moment? Hanging out with my best friend, working on the layout of a group of 15 of my photos that I'm hanging in a coffee shop gallery tomorrow.
Best thing you heard? "I love you, Mama." after I finished building and staining my daughter's big girl bed.
Best thing you saw? The Trader Joe's sign! It's opening in less than a month and it's two miles from my house!!!
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Wednesday's lunch..hmm..the Taziki's (Greek place) grilled chicken and salad

2. Best Moment? ANY moment of quiet..lol!

3. Best Thing You Heard? My daughter telling me she loves me for making her the best big girl room ever (we made over her room this past weekend)

4. Best Thing You Saw? Season 4, Episodes 1-2 of Drop Dead Diva...I am obsessed with the show! :)
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Probably the bar of chocolate i treated myself to the weekend

2. Best Moment? hearing gabbi going into the boys bedroom to wake them up calling eees eees(think thats her way of saying Rhys)

3. Best Thing You Heard? the moment my sister said she would loan me the money to buy a new car

4. Best Thing You Saw? My new car,cant wait to pick it up next week
 
I miss these types of postings!

1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Last night when I made Loaded Potato and Buffalo Chicken Casserole and Mini Peach Cobblers. And yes, my family thinks I'm a cooking Goddess! :)

2. Best Moment? Having my grandsons over last Sunday for their weekly visit.

3. Best Thing You Heard? My husband told some guys that I was the best thing that ever happened to him. He knows he's got it soooo good!

4. Best Thing You Saw? A funny on Facebook.
 
1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with caramel and heath magic shell.

2. Best Moment? Getting hugs in the morning from 18 mo. She's so snugly and won't let go of the hug until she is ready to.

3. Best Thing You Heard? Silence. My girls are driving me up the wall by yelling all.day.long! So at night when they are in bed I relax and enjoy the silence.

4. Best Thing You Saw?This is kinda sad but it made me laugh at the same time. Our dog chased some bug out in the yard. As soon as she pounced on it I knew she had been stung or bit because she came running back to me pawing at her nose. When she couldn't get it with her paws she started licking her chops with her tongue, over and over again. It made me laugh because it was obviously numb and she didn't like it. It reminded me of how when you go to the dentist as a kid and they numb you, you just can't resist poking at your cheek over and over to make sure you still can't feel anything. Okay, that was random! :D

1. Best Food in Your Tummy? Roasted asparagus with parmesan cheese

2. Best Moment? My daughter told me that she was feeling a little emotional last week and told her boyfriend "I want my mom!"

3. Best Thing You Heard? Tie - daughter's blood sugar seems to be just fine and son is all set up for college in a few weeks

4. Best Thing You Saw? The Olympics. It was NOT the youngest cat carrying around LIVE LIZARD IN THE HOUSE last night like a play toy! :giggle

Getting a lovely email.

Kennedy saying "I wuv you!"
