Yes i know its only February,i know i live in the uk and i know it is cold here but tomorrow if it is dry and hopefully it should be we are going to drive the 2.5 hours to the seaside,i need new photos for my frame i have for when i've decorated so where best to take them than on the beach,and we do love the beach in winter so coats hats and gloves on we are gonna have fun!
 
Have fun - which coast are you going to? Being so far from the seaside is one of the things I don't miss about living in Wolverhampton, lol! We're only about twenty minutes from the Essex coast here, which I love :). We're going up to Norfolk for the weekend, looks like it should be sunny so looking forward to it!
 
were going to Barmouth in Wales as my husband loves it there,i can manage a day there at most lol but it is a nice beach and not far from porthmadog where they have an awesome cafe that does old fashioned home baked cakes and puddings,id love to live by the coast something about walking along the seafront especially when no one else is there
 
ok I just want to come along for the baked cakes :) .. and I love going to the beach in Winter, there is something so wild and untamed about it. Have fun getting your pics Karen :)
 
oooh enjoy!! It's the same length of drive for us too :( So I see very little of the beach :( And seeming we only have one side it gets packed verrrry early :/
 
i have been dreaming of the beach.....only i want HOT sun and cool drinks to go along with my dream :) Have fun Karen!
 
I especially love the beach in the cool months. My FAVORITE beach trip EVER was to Tybee Island, GA on January 1st. FUN!
 
Enjoy yourself Karen! It will be good for you to let the wind blow every thought of your renovations from your mind!

Here in Florida, I'll admit we secretly laugh at the tourists who go to the beach when it's below 60...
 
I wanna be close to the sea or beach or ocean or something even if it is cold! I miss the smell of the salty air.
