Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics, because we are not even a week into this thing and I'm already bored with where I have been putting the elf.

So here's the first day:

Since this was the Elf's first visit to our house, I made a big production out of it. The Elf (now called Ellie) brought "Snow Donuts from the North Pole" (aka powdered sugar donuts) and a little gift for each of my girls. I have a bunch more pics of the breakfast with Ellie that I will be putting on my blog. This pic was me at 2:30am (after my black friday shopping trip to Target) snapping the set up before I went to bed.

Here is another one from today. She left a note for my girls (quite a pathetic looking note I might add).

I so wish I could do it! My kids are too old now :cry for the cute 'lil guy (or gal :D ). Madison has known for a couple of years and we just told Saige last year about the jolly 'ol fat guy.
 
I completly dropped the ball on this one and forgot to get one... ah well! Maybe next year! ;)

These are so cute! I've never done this, but it looks so cute!
 
I'm looking forward to this post!! We're not doing it this year because of the move. But next year there will be an elf in our house for sure.
 
What cool ideas. The problem we ran into is we told the girls last year that they could not touch the elf or he would lose his magic and thus we have been keeping him up high where little hands can't reach. I would love to transition into this more creative and fun phase with our elf, but we are already teetering on the edge of "santa isn't real" with our 7 year old. Any suggestions?
 
So glad I saw this because I forgot again. We put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving and I forgot. SO I told her that it did not start til Dec. 1st...And I almost forgot again! Yikes! You girls are so creative. My elf needs to get more active. lol...She wrote a letter for Jingles to take to Santa too so I guess Jingles needs to bring an answer soon.

Awww, I love seeing these pictures. Cristina, I really love how well behaved yours appears to be, hanging out playing board games etc. :)

Oh that's a hilarious shot Cristina and I've never heard of this elf either! We must find some substitute here in Australia LOL! This could be so much fun!!

Love these photos! I just showed DH and now he's thinking our elf needs to step it up a bit. LOL

Hey rachel, I found this great link on Pinterest, it is a letter a Mom wrote to her daughter to explain the whole Santa thing when she was doubting. Thought it might help you too!
