Well, I am already in Christmas mood, and I found this post on a women's clothes fb page, and really caught my eye, but thinking about the text, it would be better that we should have a "Thanksgiving attitude" during all the year, not just one day. I really don't think that matters if people is celebrating or not a Thanksgiving, since in many parts of the world isn't celebrated, but I do believe that deliberately cultivate an attitude of gratitude is good for the soul.
What do you think about it?
Do you think that gratitude can increase well-being and happiness?
I'm really interested in read your thoughts, please share them here with me.

I agree. I think the whole year should be about Thanksgiving. I feel like there are a lot of people who could benefit from giving thanks more often. It really does change your perspective when you take the time to be thankful for things, even the little things.

:yup Absolutely! I do think being mindfully grateful improves our well-being and happiness. I think we get more of what we focus on. Thinking about what we're grateful for leads to finding more things to be grateful for and soon we realize there are so many good things in life. And I agree that it should be a year-round thing, not just one day. I feel that way about many holidays. I don't care about valentines day or mothers day; let's show our love continuously.

For many many years I've been making gratitude lists for Thanksgiving. Before we eat our feast, we go around the table and share what we're grateful for. But I also frequently write in my journal about things for which I'm grateful too.

Exactly!!! I feel the same way, it should be every single day :love

I absolutely agree that everyone could do with a dose of daily gratitude. I know personally that I feel better when I take a moment to look around a find something to be thankful for. :agree

I totally agree, actually this happened to me, few years ago I started to thank for little things, and one fine day, I seen all the good things, big things that I had in my life and that I didn't know to be thankful for.

Michele dear, that's a great idea to write in a journal about things for which being grateful. As a matter of fact, it's a great way to find comfort and even to be inspired when comes to do a layout. So thankful with you for sharing this, because I found it's a great way to document and even journaling (I'm terrible journaling, you know, and actually I don't journal my layouts, maybe this is gonna give me the impulse to do it).

Yes I believe deliberately cultivating an attitude of gratitude is good for the soul.
Yes I believe gratitude can increase well-being and happiness.
My kids and I have been reading what we wrote in our thankful journal this year and it's been a perfect activity for this Thanksgiving season.
