Last month I posted a chat thread for "what would you title your life right now." I said mine would be called "Stomp, Stomp, Eyeroll" to document living with my 1 and a half tween-aged daughters. (They are 11 and 8. They 8 year-old is kind of a half-tween at this point). Don't know if you saw that thread, or if you just also have been dealing with tweenagers, but thanks Etc. by Danyale has come up with the Be-Tween kit. 100% perfect!

Aw, @Danyale is on vacation in Boston right now, but I bet she'll be by when she returns!

She was inspired by her granddaughter for that kit. I love that it fits your life so well! I adore the word art. Eyeroll happens all the time around here.
 
I saw that kit, but I have a tween boy! I wish it had some boyish stuff in it too (cell phone, video game controller, cologne bottle) some boy sayings "whatever" "Oh man!" and a boy character.

I would LOVE a tween boy kit @Danyale ! and cologne...hahah, the smell of AXE comes down the hall before my son! oh to think a year ago I couldn't get him in the shower!
stinky shoes, hair gel, lounge on couch, long legs, clueless to the world around him, weights, ability to sleep for hours and hours and eat everything!
 
Old Spice at our house. He showers more but still not always enough. He is 19.

I just downloaded the Be-Tween kits. I am working on pictures from 2012, so that makes my daughter 10 and yes, I have some eyeroll pictures.
 
@Juliestcyr thank you for saying you get "tween" 'tude from your 8yo. My 8yo DD has been totally testing limits and being a tween lately. I was not ready for it! Reading that you've got another tween-tween made me feel better if only to know that I'm not the only one dealing with that attitude already!

HAVE YOU BEEN IN MY HOUSE?! lol This is sooooooooo my 12 year old.
 
Well... I've been there, done that and I feel all your pain, frustration and hair pulling! My daughter is now 17, the hubby, myself and Emma all survived those be-tween years... barely, but we did. LOL! Hang on tight ladies and scrap the good, and the bad be-tween; yous will laugh and cry over those LOs down the road.

This new kit of @Danyale 's is a perfect addition to your life and scrappin journey with be-tweens. :-)

Here is my LO with this kit... (Lord knows I have tons of selfies of her! I swear that's all they do is take selfies! LOL!) :-)

Oh gosh. I am almost in tears! Thank you sooooo much for validating these crazy days with this kit. Yes, I have the tween grand daughter and you are all right....we need a boy version! When I started working on a different theme for BYOC, she came for a visit and I knew that the short 6 months since we had seen her called for something else. Honestly, she totally helped the whole design process, even the girls I drew, lol!!

One more eyeroll and I may need an intervention, haha!!

So, as I sat with the grand- daughter, and I told her what everyone was saying - she replied:

"Oh! We DID forget about boys!" - bwahahahaha!

I am working on a list for a little something, and now have added; a boy character (got to get drawing) - stinky smell - cologne - attitude - no shower zone (haha) - Oh, man - oh, boy to my list.


@meterr: Some of these "fun" products (I have some more grown-up ones as well) may be useful for you as well as others with boys too!




 
You know, @Juliestcyr ..... Danyale is like that to me...every time I need a kit to scrap my current reality...she creates the kits!!!!!!!!
This last one couldn't fit better.!!!!! I scrapped the Be-Tween for last weekend, on a positive note....now I will need to scrap another page, as all went a bit bananas around here...and she is 20!!!!!!!
It is so tiring...!!!!
