Anyone know Kate Hadfield's screen name so we can tag her?

I receive her newsletter and I love that she titled yesterday's with "Warning: Contains Spiders." So many times, I've dropped my phone as I'm scrolling on FB and come upon someone's photo of a spider.

Hand drawn spiders aren't usually as creepy as real life ones, but I still greatly appreciate the warning!

I was really worried that someone would open the email and NOT be happy to see spiders and snakes staring back at them! I'm glad my warning worked for you and you had a spider-free experience @michelepixels !!

I actually opened the email the second time I came upon it, when I was on my computer. I have a huge 27" iMac, so it wasn't scary like it might have been on the little phone screen. And the rest of the kit is great! It's only spiders that I don't like to see. Thanks @Kate !

Spiders aren't my favourite either! But snakes are worse *shudder* I'm glad the nasty spiders didn't catch you unawares!
 
That subject line actually peeked my daughter's curiosity, and she wanted to see. She thought Kate's drawings were really cool. More than once I've hollered for her to come and wrangle a spider into her jar so it didn't get squished. She has a huge heart for all creatures.

Early on I asked my husband to deal with spiders for me and honored him with the title Spider Slayer. :giggle (Don't tell your daughter.) Good for you not passing on your arachnophobia to your daughter! I tried so hard to avoid passing it on to my kids but my girls are worse about spiders than I am. My younger daughter hates insects too! I've never been bothered by insects.

Actually, even when she's not home, I find myself getting her jar for anything crawling around instead of squishing them. She's definitely softened my heart.
 
You just need a frog. They love spiders!

@fanon You're making me nervous about losing my lead in the Bart kissing game! ;) And I thought you were a newbie because I've never seen your name before, but you joined longer ago than I did. How have I not seen you before? I've been hanging out at TLP almost daily for the last 2 years. :D
