And it's a long weekend :yesss!

So what's on the agenda? This was the last week of preschool for my little 2 but the boys are still in school until the 15th. Wee are headed up to my in laws mountain house (about a 6 hour drive...hoping the kids sleep) for the weekend for my FIL's 60th birthday party. I am praying for no rain!

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Sounds like a fun trip - wishing you luck with the drive!

We've got to transplant some tomato and pepper plants that got *killed* in the storm yesterday. :( I'm also working on my girls room. Besides that, I really, really hope to scrap a ton! I told Chris how behind I am on my scrapping, and he said that I should spend the weekend trying to get caught up!! Yes!

baseball. baseball baseball.

that's my weekend. we have a game tonight (as long as it doesn't rain again) and most likely a game tomorrow (we have a few make up games to cover).

My SIL is flying in today for a two week visit. No plans really other than to hang out this weekend. DD has horseback riding Sunday and then DH will probably grill out on Monday.

DH's 2 grown kids are in from Texas so we're going to just have a nice, relaxing family weekend that is wayyyy over-due! We're planning a cookout on the deck and some pool time on Sunday. Ahh.....rest & relaxation!

wow, Kelley, that is so nice!!

my boys have been out of town on a little trip with their grandparents and get back today. We have dinner with friends tomorrow night and that is about all the planning I have done so far.

We have to fix our bathtub. It's leaking hot water and not only is the cost driving me insane, but the constant noise of water running is driving me BATTY!

We'll only have the boys as Destiny is with her mother. So, no big plans so far.

Sleeping in is on the agenda though!!!!

My dad and stepmother are coming over for a project day. Hopefully, we'll figure out why sprinkler system doesn't work, trim some hedges and decide on some plants to replace a few dead ones in the front yard. I can't grow ANYTHING to save my life so I let others with more experience pick out what plants I might not be able to kill immediately.

My dad will leave the pressure washer so that my son can use over the next couple of weeks on the pool deck.

My son has a few end of year type get togethers this weekend so I'll have some free time to scrap too! (After I mop the floors and clean the kitchen.... my parents ARE coming over...)

Oooh boo to the unexpected hiccups (that tub, Nikki ---boo! and your poor tomatoes Kelley) but yay for lots of family time for everyone and some fun activities!

It's felt like a whirlwind of a week and today in just a few moments I head back to Bugga's school for an extendo awards ceremony/school presentation/BBQ. Then this weekend I'm crafting and designing and scrapping and hoping to finally kick this sinus stuff to the curb. :) Looking forward to it!

Hope everyone has a beautiful and safe weekend!

Unfortunately, work work work. I do have Monday off though, and I'm just going to relax!

We actually have an extra long weekend since we're going to a Cubs game with the homeschooling group on Tuesday and Mark took the day off and we're going to take the train downtown and the El to Wrigley... I'm so excited and can't wait... the other thing we're doing this weekend is painting the master bedroom... paint is on sale this weekend so we're going to pick up some paint and get to work on finally make my bedroom a haven for me :) It's a nice break from the kitchen while we're on a stand still until my parents come in a couple weeks :)

I am counting down the hours.... I'm going to be on vacation next week!!! And I'm going to stop on my way home and pick up my new Mac!!! Oh life is gonna be real good once I get out of work! LOL! I don't even know what I'm going to do with all that time. I have a vet appointment for Penny, I've got to watch my nieces one day, and I'm having a karaoke birthday party on Saturday. I can't wait!!!!!!

Heather, I'm so jealous you are going to a Cubs game. That's been on my bucket list for a while...but I just haven't done it. Hoping this will be the summer I finally make it to Wrigley!

I'm going grocery shopping for the weekend tonight, hanging out in my comfies tomorrow at the house, going to church + first visit of the year to the lake/beach on Sunday (and avoiding all the race traffic!), and then going to some friends' house for a BBQ Monday.

I'm way excited abt the fun... and the picture possibilities, too! :giggle

We have a whole lot of nothing on the agenda. But I'm excited that I'm done with school for the term (until next Friday... lol) so I have a few days of not having to bang my head against the wall. We went on a mini trip to the mountain today, but didn't get to stay long. We bought an annual pass though so we have a good excuse to go back.

I'm going to try to get to the clinic at some point this week to see if I can finally get an antibiotic to get rid of this upper respiratory thing I've had for a month. I'm also hoping to get some organizing done in the next week. That will make me feel better and life should operate more smoothly.

Maybe some scrapping! I need to finish a couple of challenge layouts! Off to check and see which I am missing!

Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!!!

Oh... I'm going with some homeschool group that I I've never heard of before but they were organizing it... I should have sent you the info... would have been fun

You aren't having much luck with the garden this spring, are you?! :(

DH and my oldest are off to Cub-eree (weekend camp with tons of activities). So just me and my youngest - we're driving to my sister's acreage to celebrate her birthday tomorrow, but I'm hoping just to hang around and enjoy the nice weather.

Oh, and our neighbour sold us his portable BB hoop, so the kids have been shooting hoops every spare moment - lots of fun.

We have a couple fun things, but lots of free time too, so I'm super excited! Tonight we have a movie downtown by the beach. They are bringing in a big screen and sound system and it's family friendly and free! Woo-hoo. The kids are all excited they get to stay up until 10:00. Tomorrow we have church in the morning and then we'll be camped at the beach all day as it's supposed to be 96°!!! Then we have a BBQ in the evening. Monday.... nothing! Yay! :)
